Bigger question, given how suddenly Trump shows some caring for the American people, is Why didn't he push for $2k in the first stimulus plan?

If this current bill had money in it to help bail out Trump's businesses, he'd sign it!

I'm good...union family so we aren't qualified. So Trump asked in October, he has been awol ever since. What's up with that. Why hasn't he been involved in these negotiations. It's not only democrats who want a new president. It's many republicans and independents as well.

I seriously doubt $600 per American citizen is going to accomplish much. Speaking of accomplishing much (or not) he was a part of that swamp for years. His current status gives him zero authority to tell President Trump to sign anything.

Thats his way of being in control. Thats his logic, no matter who it hurts. But instead goes on a golf outing and charges the taxpayer $15 million for his fun.

President-elect Joe Biden is urging President Trump to sign the new coronavirus economic relief bill into law now or risk 'devastating consequences,' following Trump's Saturday morning Twitter rant.
'It is the day after Christmas, and millions of families don’t know if they’ll be able to make ends meet because of President Donald Trump’s refusal to sign an economic relief bill approved by Congress with an overwhelming and bipartisan majority,' Biden said in a statement Saturday.

Biden added that 'This abdication of responsibility has devastating consequences.'

" Biden tells Trump to", Show us WHERE it is written biden can tell Trump what to do!

I repeat.

Will some of our friends on the left explain how ANY of these thongs should be included in a "stimulus" package meant to help those suffering financially from the covid virus?

What DOES ALL of this have to do with the Virus????

> Make sure you try and count the 000000000’s!
> Behind your little $600 check.... relief check you will receive:
>
> 1. $300,000,000 for Migrant and Refugee Assistance pg.. 147
> 2. $10,000 per person for student loan bailout
> 3. $100,000,000 to NASA, because, who knows why.
> 4. $20,000,000,000 to the USPS, because why not
> 5. $300,000,000 to the Endowment for the Arts - because of it
> 6. $300,000,000 for the Endowment for the Humanities/ because no one even knew that was a thing
> 7. $15,000,000 for Veterans Employment Training / for when the GI Bill isn't enough
> 8. $435,000,000 for mental health support
> 9. $30,000,000,000 for the Department of Education stabilization fund/ because that will keep people employed (all those zeros can be confusing, that’s $30 BILLION)

> 11. $300,000,000 to Public Broadcasting / NPR has to be bought by the Democrats

Biden is a globalist he don't give a damn about Americans This is typical Trump putting American people first Biden already said he will not put America or Americans first .It was a fraud election. It's the Communists plus the globalists that will never put Americans first. All those are bidens kind of people Biden would sign a bill giving Americans $0.50 .

Sigh. It’s all so tiresome. Trump asked for a stand alone bill in OCTOBER! Neither party wanted to get that going because they were playing stupid games. Only now (on Monday) have they decided to sign a stand alone bill for $2000. Were it not for the pos in government who think we are pawns in their games, we would have had some relief in October, and maybe even another by now.

You can stop pinning everything on Trump, put your TDS down for one moment, and realize it’s the politicians who don’t give a single........ about you. Both parties. Cheerleading for the Dems isn’t going to get you what you want because you mean nothing to them.

Trump is right to stand his ground on this one. The Dems, with the support of the Reps, pulled a fast one on the American people.

The sad thing is that most Americans don’t realized they’ve been punked by career politicians.

I’ll be sad to see Trump leave, but I think it will be an eye-opener when the country and the world starts to slip into real chaos. Both Beijing Biden and Heels-Up Harris, along with Pelosi’s crazy @zz will fail, as they take down the Middle-Class with them.

I hope that Trump is able to shame both the Dems and Reps into removing most of the BS in that Bill and raise that $600 to $2000.

Btw, if you thought 2020 was a loss, what till 2021!! Hang on America, it’s going to be a crazy next few years!!

He also forgot to mention that those people in Pakistan will not be getting their funding to research why women are not allowed to drive and what impact that has on their lives. Another ridiculous allocation for millions of our tax payer monies is to find out how the Dali Lama is chosen. Of course the BIGGIE is that members of the House will not be getting their pay raises.

Do we really care about all this pork when citizens are in real trouble?

Cmon man, is it that hard for Congress to come up with a bill that addresses Covid Relief and only Covid Relief or can they not walk and chew gum at the same time? We hire these people to make good decisions that affect our country and time and again they show that they are not up to the task.
These are very valid points, and wait for it, I agree with you on this one. The Covid relief bill should be about Covid relief and nothing else at this point. Why do we need a 5,000 page bill full of pork? You're right. This is not business as usual under these circumstances. The American people should be our main focus. Everything else can wait.
