Trump has fooled ye faithful once again. Foreign aid is always in the "omnibus". Trump is conflating aka lying that a "COVID Relief" bill and the "omnibus" as one, so you think that "pork" is the reason he has not signed the COVID relief bill. You have also been fooled into thinking that the TRUE reason Trump has demanded the COVID relief bill be upped from $600 to $2,000 is because he is trying to get you the money. Reality: he never once stepped foot in the negotiations room or told Mnuchin that he MUST HAVE $2,000 direct payouts, knowing they'd agreed on $600, until the day before his signature was needed. He did this to spite Mitch McConnell because Mitch is trying to get the win for the two Republican Senate seats Jan 5th, so he can stay Majority Leader, to which if those seats are lost, he wont. And trying to get people to vote for the two seats for Republicans who have left you astray wont work. Trump knows Mitch and co had a hard enough time even getting $600, so $2,000 is unfathomable to them and Trump knows this.
If you are going to talk politics, do the research and know what's going on because if you havent learned by now, Trump does not even know the Constitution and how the law works..he also lies as he knows his supporters don't care or bother to research.

I don't think President Trump is concerned about "Hog The Camera Jill"
Biden is talking what position this puts the nation into. Remember Biden did talk about this being a "down payment" so it is very likely we will see another stimulus check in a future stimulus package. The question is how soon will Congress act, especially Congressional Republicans that attacked this bill and NOT about the "pork" in the Omnibus that included the Stimulus Bill.

Trump hasn't been super active in talks. Mnuchin would be in and out of the stimulus talks since October when talks got more and more serious as we knew a second wave was imminent. My question is why did Trump wait so long after Sen. Johnson shot down the $1,200 to threaten veto over the small $600 checks.

Now don't get me wrong I do need the Trump sized check due to lost wages from my two extra jobs, but to hold everything else up is asinine. Trump is the worst.

President-elect Joe Biden is urging President Trump to sign the new coronavirus economic relief bill into law now or risk 'devastating consequences,' following Trump's Saturday morning Twitter rant.
'It is the day after Christmas, and millions of families don’t know if they’ll be able to make ends meet because of President Donald Trump’s refusal to sign an economic relief bill approved by Congress with an overwhelming and bipartisan majority,' Biden said in a statement Saturday.

Biden added that 'This abdication of responsibility has devastating consequences.'

Why doesn't Biden tell congress and senate to pass a clean stimulus bill?

That $600 pittance to the taxpayer comes with far too great a pricetag.

Considering how Pelosi and company held the American people hostage with it before the election. I would say it is a very expensive piece of pork.

Pelosi held the first stimulus hostage for two months and this stimulus for four months with all the pork. Why can't they just pass a stimulus for the American people only??? Power and control.

Fact:. Unemployment benefits HAVE run out for 9.5 million Americans. As of 12:01 this morning, there is no more help for the Americans that need it most.

And until trump signs the bill (that was passed with bipartisan support to include a split congress), no help for American people.

And to remind everyonee, financial struggles due to covid knows no political bounds. Millions of Democrats AND Republicans need that financial help to keep a roof over their heads and keep the lights on.

Even if it's only $600 now, it's better than nothing for people who have bills due in 4 days on 1/1. How everyone wouldn't agree with that is beyond me.

Sign the damn bill, Trump.
