Of course Trump obeyed Biden's command. Trump is a weakling and a follower, and Joe Biden is just the right person to put him in his place.

And to remind everyonee, financial struggles due to covid knows no political bounds. Millions of Democrats AND Republicans need that financial help to keep a roof over their heads and keep the lights on.

Even if it's only $600 now, it's better than nothing for people who have bills due in 4 days on 1/1. How everyone wouldn't agree with that is beyond me.

Sign the damn bill, Trump.
It's like people refuse to read the posts in the thread they are responding in.

AGAIN, Trump asked for a stand alone bill for covid relief in OCTOBER! The useless politicians were playing "election" games, and didn't care about you. Both sides played it.

NOW, they are talking about a stand alone bill to be signed this week for $2000.

Pelosi and Schumer refused to sign the $1.8 bill from earlier this summer, not just the Republicans...or did the msm not tell you that part? Yeah, they didn't agree with it, either. That's why we didn't get jack all over the summer.

They continued to play stupid games, Trump, who does give a rat's ass about the American people, asked Congress to come up with a stand alone bill for ONLY stimulus checks in the amount of $1200 3 months ago. Three. Fricken. Months. Ago!

Now, that the Dems aren't going to get their pork laden horse crap bill passed, now they want to pretend that they care about the American people and will sign a bill this week, (one said Monday on Twitter - a Congress creature, not some random person), for $2000.

Now.

Not 3 months ago when people needed it, when Trump asked for it, but now that they can't get their crap bill passed.

I don't care if you don't like Mitch McConnell - as if that is supposed to phase me somehow - he's a useless RINO, and should be in a nursing home, not representing the people - which he's not doing at all. However, if you had a damn clue about what these losers have been doing, you would know that your little Dems that you love to cheerlead, also screwed you over during the summer and in October.

I'll say this again: Your government does not care about you. They care about themselves. That's it. This stand alone bill for $2000 is not because they care about you, it's because they want something, and the optics is an added bonus, because you can bet that they will take all the credit for it, and the main stream propaganda machine will be more than happy to tell you it was all the Dem's idea.

It wasn't. Guess whose idea it was. The one you hate so much that you are too blind to see that your own party doesn't give a toss about you.

Well Trump can't get his own party to follow him. Sign of a weak leader.

Yep

Biden told trump to do it, and he did it.

A very bad bill was signed and people are celebrating? It was anything but a good thing.

Excellent way to put it!

Reading the earlier responses is fun. Trump caved and signed, and I guess those posters will now argue what a fantastic deal Trump made.

Just....because.
