So Biden* wants a $2.5 trillion spending bill that was negotiated in secret and not read by anyone in congress to be voted on, up or down, a few hours after it's handed to them. This is what Biden's* administration along with Nancy will do and you will be expected to like it. Thanks, democrats.

As for knowing what's in the bill, he knows. Do you?
Low info comment.

He put it in there because it was in his budget request which is always partly what the final budget appropriations end up being based on.

Delivering virus aid to the country required a leap of faith for lawmakers as they cast their votes, practically sight unseen, for a sprawling, 5,593-page bill that linked the pandemic aid with a $1.4 trillion annual spending bill to fund the government. The Senate Historical Office says it's the longest bill they could find record of passing Congress.

My understanding is that Obamacare was something like 828 pages long, but they then cranked out 33,000 pages of regulations to support Obamacare AFTER it became law.

Yikes, an old white millionaire telling citizens to get their measly $600.

Well done Joe Biden

Serious question --

Does anyone know if even one Democrat has come out defending all the pork?

Imo, any Congressperson who supports such a bill is completely corrupt and does not care one whit about the average American. Period.

So this isn't a stimulus bill. It's a government spending bil that has a stimulus funding portion ADDED to it.

Stimulus should have been standing on its own.

But the budget bill needs to pass to keep govt. running.

The legislators will keep coming up with massive pork-ridden bills as long as voters give their approval by voting them back in office, often by huge margins. The bigger their winning margins are, the more convinced legislators are doing just what the voters want them to, such as give many millions to foreign countries for starters.

It was a completely non controversial budget bill until Trump played the base with sound bytes about ****hole countries.

In that case, quit voting to send your legislators back into office term after term endlessly, if that is what you have been doing.
