True. He was a Republican under Reagan. He was against the Clinton impeachment and went Independent in 1999 . Went Democrat in 2001 because of W Bush and the war and getting permits in NYC . Came back to the party after W Bush left. Went independent in 2011 and then went back in 2012 to endorsed the back stabbing Mormon and has stayed in the party since then.
He has governed more to the right than both Bushes. Are any Republican really happy with the 12 years of the Bushes?
