China LOVES this deal. They get to keep doing what they are doing while the other countries in the world go broke being woke.

Democrats - why do you back Biden on this? What good is going to come from this bit of globalism? Please be specific in which ways this benefits the American worker.
Well, does the American worker wish to breathe? I think so. Does the American worker wish to eat? Again, I think so.

The US led the world reducing carbon emissions in 2019. We don't need the Paris climate accord. The free market works here. The Paris accord is ineffective in certain countries, obviously. Why would we'r want to be in a failed agreement?

The Paris Climate Accord does not force the US is to anything other than trying to reduce emissions and to try to tackle environmental problems.

Other countries are currently doing far more than the US, and they are not complaining.

Biden and the Dems are doing the right thing by rejoining the Paris Accord, and in terms of the environment.

The US needs to take a leading role in alliances and reestablish itself as a global leader.
So you're saying it actually doesn't accomplish anything, but is just a show of virtue signaling?

Maybe because they will still be able to breathe outside air in 10 years?

Preserving the environment is definitely an important thing. Although, what does it have to do with being a part of this big circle jerk where each country sets it's own goals and we may or may not have to pay into it ?
Commitments, pledges, etc.... sounds like HR / Management gibberish.
Not being a part of this agreement does not hinder our country from trying to improve the environment.

We give them money and send jobs to the third world with no environmental regulations so it actually increases pollution.

China's plan actually increases their pollution output.

I’m not necessarily against your claims (although I’m not sure how much man has to do with it). But the Paris climate accord is doing nothing but taking our tax dollars. It seems like that is really hard for some people to grasp. It’s a joke of an agreement. It is non binding at all. China , the worlds largest politer of greenhouse gasses gives nothing to it and nothing is done about it.
