The entire premise of the Paris Climate agreement is to limit global warming.

If you don't agree that global warming is a problem, then you have no basis arguing whether it is an effective agreement or not: you're arguing against something that is fundamental to even discussing the document. You're wasting your time, it's like trying to explain to an NRA convention that gun rights should have limits, or to a flat earther that the world is really round, or to MAGAs at a Trump rally in DC that violently assaulting the capitol is not the most effective way to support democracy.

You're entitled to your opinion. My opinion, and apparently President Biden's, based on the vast preponderance of scientific authorities, is that global warming is probably a pretty bad deal overall.

Seems like about 75% on here don't know that.

Just Google it.
I literally Googled "Paris accord increase pollution" and no hits.

Perhaps share the information you are aware of?

It's TERRIBLE for workers, especially here in Louisiana. Unlike many other parts of the country, we still have a lot of well paying blue collar jobs in the plants, refineries, offshore drilling and pipelines. Jobs where you don't have to have college debt and can make over $30 an hour, jobs that are already gone from many other places due to unfair trade agreements and government overregulation like Detroit, Baltimore, Cleveland, New Jersey, etc. The real answer isn't raising minimum wage or making welfare more generous, its that we need MORE such jobs and Democrats are the ones destroying these jobs and forcing more people to need minimum wage or government assistance. I used to live in West Virginia when Obama launched the war on coal and devastating the economy there.

But when our electric bills and gas prices go up, even then liberals won't admit its because of Biden's policies, they'll say it was going to go up anyway. Just like even though my insurance company letter specifically said they raised my premiums because of Obamacare, every liberal I mentioned this to claimed they were planning to raise my rates anyway. When I point out minimum wage increases are forcing more companies to do self checkout and self ordering kiosks they swear all that was going to happen anyway, though it didn't happen when it was cheaper to pay a worker at a lower wage.

The thing is the liberals can never win on policy because their policies are simply not good. So they have to make it all about race and political correctness. Their only attack on Trump that worked was that he was "racist". All of his policies including supporting oil and gas has been helpful to us. More domestic gas production not only means more jobs and tax revenue but it makes us less dependent on the Middle East and reduces the need for military intervention abroad.

You will never get an actual answer to that question from liberals.

Environmental damaged takes decades to repair.
The US has strict environmental laws already in place via the EPA. We're not polluting with or without the Paris accord. Your argument is invalid.

It's all about the feelz. Let's all sign something, so we can talk about doing something, and then pat each other on the back about how much progress we are making.

In the meantime, you have people like Boyan Slat that are actually doing things.

Wouldn’t that cause billions of death, but who cares, right?

That tells you what they really believe.
So, now you're getting your conspiracy theories from Lex Luthor's plans in Superman?

Especially if we had started with the Trump rallies (sponsored by Golden Corral! "When you want to eat your feelings over the bad choices you've made in life, put your MAGA hat on and come on down to Golden Corral!")...
