I was wondering who that was. I guess having a bust of a powerful American that fought and worked for America just doesn't lend any inspiration nor does it convey the message the Dems want.

Did anyone see the bust of MLK? The one that Trump created a front page crisis over when it was reported he had it removed, what a Racist move! but then when it was actually found out it was just behind something and out of view when the reporter happened to notice... was there ever a retraction??

Chavez was a patriotic American and a nativist, he aggressively opposed illegal immigration. If Chavez were alive today, Biden would be encouraging Twitter and FaceBook to ban him, and he'd be demonizing him for his "anti-immigrant," "nativist" opinions.

Caesar Chavez was born in Arizona. He was an American and he fought for the rights of the working man.

We'd expect a bust of someone Biden has common views with. Biden's views on immigration are antithetical to the views on Caesar Chaves, that's the point. It's like David Duke putting a bust of MLK in his office, as a cheap political prop to pander to black Americans
