Surely, the US Govt. could have come up with a plan to house them comfortably. Having hem sleep on the ground outside or in a parking garage is ridiculous.

Masks are only one part of mitigation. Social distancing is another, and the NG have not been able to do that.

Preliminary data suggest the two mRNA vaccines will prevent transmission.

Everyone masked helps protect everyone, regardless of party.

"Experimental and epidemiological data support community masking to reduce the spread of SARS-CoV-2. The prevention benefit of masking is derived from the combination of source control and personal protection for the mask wearer. The relationship between source control and personal protection is likely complementary and possibly synergistic, so that individual benefit increases with increasing community mask use."

only a very small percentage of the people at the capital rioted and most were provoked by antifa. it was a setup and the security that day was not the same as it usually is.

That’s more troops than we have overseas, how do they house them on a few days notice. These are soldiers, sleeping on the ground comes with the job. Housing soldiers from all around the country indoors is a bad idea.

Yikes, Biden just can't seem to do anything right. First he refuses to follow his own executive orders of a mask mandate on federal property, now he's responsible for infecting countless troops in the name of safety against an overblown threat.
I saw that coming

So a handful of rednecks justifies a WW2 deployment super-spreader COVID event?

I’m not buying that at all. The troops are going to spread the virus back to their home state and it’s all Messiah-Bidens fault.

They underestimated these right wing nuts once they weren't going to let it happen again, there was a fair amount of bipartisan agreement that they wanted to make sure. So go on keep criticizing this as an overreaction after the fact.

Yep. PoorJoe's first week was awful. At this rate, he will have a zero approval rating FAST.
