I don't have time right now to look into this professor's background and credibility but the fact that he's an Ivy League professor is meaningless. Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley have Ivy League educations and they're both lying sleazebags.

I bet you can find tons of people in the Ivy League who think there are more than 2 genders, which is incorrect and nutty.

Why do you think "Ivy League" really means anything whatsoever?

Took Abrams 10 days, while votes continued to be counted before Abrams acknowledged Kempwill be the certified victor in the 2018 gubernatorial election.

Abrams never challenged the outcome or sought to overturn the election.

Her issue was focused on voter suppression.

Regardless of politics, there is no question she worked her butt off to get people to register, vote in the national election and then again in the run-off.

Meanwhile, pro Trump attorney Lin Wood encouraged Georgia Republicans to not vote in the run- off because voting machines were rigged. Apparently, enough Registered Georgians agreed and stayed home.

Too funny.

Abrams didn't insite an insurrection at the GA capital like Trump did in DC w/ his speech and his continued claim of stolen election which was proven wrong by the courts

Abrams is a hero because she worked her butt off to get those who were disenfranchised in GA to register and go vote in this election.

She never once tried to tell election boards to illegally find her more votes like Trump did.

Uhhhh she filed a big lawsuit claiming that the election was stolen:

Also, Trump's direct quote was to "Peacefully and Patriotically" protest.

Fact.
If you didn't watch the video of his address to his domestic terrorists at the "Save America" rally, there's no point in wasting time trying to respond to that.

In October, after Secretary Boockvar issued guidance that election officials would no longer reject a ballot based on a failure to verify the voter’s signature, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that election officials did not have to authenticate signatures for absentee and mail-in ballots. This new policy usurped the legislature’s authority and treated mail voters differently than in-person voters because election officials still had to match signatures of in-person voters at polling locations.

Then, two days before the Nov. 3 election, Secretary Boockvar once again violated the state legislature’s authority by issuing new guidance extending the deadline for absentee and mail-in voters to provide missing proof of identification from Nov. 9 to Nov. 12. This directly violated Pennsylvania law, which states that voters must provide missing proof of identification and the county board of election must verify it “prior to the sixth calendar day following the election.”

Additionally, Secretary Boockvar issued last-minute guidance allowing for the uneven administration of the election across counties in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania law holds that counties may only begin processing absentee and mail-in ballots on the morning of the election. However, prior to Election Day, some counties — but not all — began the process of “curing” ballots by notifying voters of deficiencies in their mail ballots and allowing them to either request a replacement or vote provisionally. In an email on the eve of Election Day, Secretary Boockvar provided guidance for notifying voters of rejected ballots, effectively authorizing the curing of mail-in ballots with less than a 24-hours’ notice.
The US supreme court refused to hear any of that so lower courts ruling stand. I doubt any of that would have changed the outcome in PA because the margin of difference.

The Trump lawsuits they complain about small numbers of people who drove down to an election office to cure their ballot are asking to invalidate 2-3 million votes. I doubt the numbers of people who took the time to drive down to a county office amounted to more then 500 voters probably less.

Facts don't care about your "interpretations" though.

We've all watched it. The media rarely plays clips from it. Wonder why? He literally said "Peacefully protest."

If you live in bizarro world where that can be construed as "inciting a riot" then I can't help you.

Facts matter.

the supreme court didn't rule on the merit of these issues. They simply said it was "too late" in effect.

You can say you "doubt it would have made a difference" all you want, but millions of people disagree.

The rules were DEFINITELY broken and remember, Trump lost the election by 40,000 votes across 3 states.

There was a beef to be had here.

The riot is still under investigation to determine if it was organized and what level did that happen at. I'm waiting to see what the investigation turns up from the FBI, and DOJ. If the Trump family, or campaign had anything to do with it they should be charged with accessory to murder.
