anyone else looking in amazement as C-Ds devout conservatives and liberals are in agreement here?
I wish the liberals would finally realize the corrupt Swamp isn't working for them, someone we conservatives have been trying to tell them for a while now. They keep thinking the battle is liberals vs. conservatives. It's not. It's Establishment vs. people. Unfortunately, the Establishment has convinced them that up is down and black is white.
Also, I will also say it's pretty refreshing to see people on both sides of the aisle agree on an issue for once:
****ing over the stock overlords.
I don't have any issue with the "stock overlords" if we're talking about people making money on Wall Street. I do have problems with the system if it ...
*makes 1 set of rules for me, but a different one for them (like these trading stops)
* gives them astounding returns without the risk that is supposed to be inherent in that (shorting a stock, especially when shorts are > outstanding stock). See also: MBS/CDS in 2008.
* treating their primary source of income at lower cap gains rates, when that income is manipulated to receive this favorable tax treatment.
*applying 2 & 3 to C-suite employees - and tying pay to STOCK performance not COMPANY price.
