All the trump lovers I grew up with are posting stuff like "Listening to Morgan Wallen all day today!"
The right loves to defend racist behavior.
The left likes to make things up about what is or isn't racist behavior. What did he say? Did he say that in a country where all the states have free or low cost state ids that blacks are too inept to get them? or did he jokingly call a friend the n word while drunk?
We live in a culture of high racial sensitivity. It is actually nothing new. There was an incident in 1972 involving Howard Cosell doing Monday Night Football. A black football player was sprinting to the endzone and Cosell sang-out, "Look at that little monkey run!" It got Cosell in all kinds of trouble. Oddly, I had an uncle who used to good-naturedly call me "little monkey" when I was a kid. I am as white as the driven snow. It is sometimes necessary to punish minimal wrongdoings for the sake of limiting the animosity between two cultures co-existing in the same geographic area.
Of all people. Cosell was well known as someone who promoted equality.

He also called his friend a ***** Wallen's lucky the #metoo women aren't after him for being a misogynist.
Total Loss of all freedom doesn’t happen in one fell swoop. It happens gradually, one freedom at a time, and one tiny step at a time, as we allow ourselves to be conditioned and trained to not just accept the losses .... but to actually demand it, and enthusiastically celebrate it.
The freedom of speech is one of the most critical freedoms we have, and no freedom has been more under attack. The truth is, words only have the power we agree to grant them. Frankly, a well grounded person would better serve themselves by not allowing words uttered from another person to affect them. To allow a stranger to control your emotions by the mere utterance of a single word, places them in total control of you. Better that we reclaim our power by not agreeing to grant words and strangers such power over us.
Then, we can all get back to thinking, behaving and talking like adults, rather than children.
I don't think you understand. "A well grounded person" should know NOT to call people slurs. Why do you think it is OK? Would I want as a white person to be called Whitey or cracks or honky, HELL NO. And that is nowhere near what other races face.

the problem is anyone calling someone whitey or honky gets no reprimands. They should have their lives ruined also. Its only equal. Which is what being "non-racist" is all about

The words are not equal, and you know it
When was the last time someone said honky by the way? 1974?

To me personally?? I'd say in the 80's...........but we didn't carry a grudge......he called me Honky.... I called him the "N' word. You see the difference?? I can say ****** and not be banned. If i say the "N' word my life is over..........they are both racial slurs and you know it........
