Been a cop for 14 years.
Attended a dozen of cop funerals who lost their lives in the line of duty.
This is the first time in my career that the democrats (and the MSM to some extent) place a fallen cop in god-like status. Especially after a turbulent & anti-law enforcement year of 2020.
Are you suggesting all the other capitol police who didn't shoot someone wasn't doing their job? You think protesters should be shot? I find it ironic during the whole melee the only shot fired was at an unarmed woman.
They went well beyond protesting. Dozens of cops were injured by the mob that she was part of. VP Pence just managed to avoid these "protestors" by the skin of his teeth. The cops main job was to protect the VP and others.
Over 140 cops were injured that day. They suffered concussions and loss of fingers. Several were hospitalized. In all probability Sicknick would be alive if not for the violent insurrectionists.

I doubt my encouraging you to shoot rioters would do you much good. I respect cops, I don't respect criminals, which is what rioters and the insurrectionists are.
If you're engaging in criminal activity and get yourself killed that's on you. It's that simple.
