A man with nothing to hide, hides nothing.

Quote:
The Supreme Court's rejection Monday of an attempt by Donald Trump to keep Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance from seeing his tax returns (and other financial documents) was rightly cast as a major legal setback for the former President.

But buried in that conclusion is this nagging question: What is Trump so afraid of? As in: Why has he fought so incredibly hard for the past five-plus years to keep anyone from seeing his taxes?

Remember that Trump's view on releasing his tax returns was not always what it is today.

Wow, he sure did back peddle eh?

I'm not a fan of the world viewing my tax info. So I get how intrusive it maybe to the citizen.

Transparency is only affirmative for the innocent person , IMHO.

I doubt Trump really even reviewed his own taxes. He just isn't a detailed oriented person. He is a bottomline style. He hired a tax company, as he should, to file. He will no doubt hang them out to dry on these allegations being brought forth. He loves to say... It wasn't me! They did this.

Yeah, but if Trump is treated with the same due process as the rest of us, then he'll run again in 2024 - **** that!

I'm not sure he's done anything criminal -- but reality -- the actual income might now be what he wants folks to see.

Because his heavily audited and IRS approved tax returns are full of incriminating evidences!

What billionaire wants his financial dealings in the public eye? We we act like it's a sin to be rich.

In a country well governed, poverty is something to be ashamed of. In a country badly governed, wealth is something to be ashamed of.
