Some will like her and some will not. She is probably making more than anyone in here so kudos to her! Opinions are like… so it doesn’t matter. If the magazine sells, it’s a win win.
This is what always confuses me. I know there are a lot of men who like plumper women, but you never really see that in mainstream magazines. I suppose it's not a big enough demographic to chase, unless you're just going to put out basic porn.
Anyway, it's always been a reality for young girls and women that beauty and fashion magazine covers are (or at least in the past) going to highlight shapely, but thinner, women. Famous models often revealed how often they went hungry to stay successful.
I don't even really have a problem with it overall. It's their magazine, they can do what they want with it. And others can do what they want with their media, and show different models. I know how I feel about myself.
SI was in trouble a while back and changed their business model. Today it's not so much about magazine subscriptions but looking for ways the license the SI name.
Going woke probably got SI much more MSM attention than the usual eye candy would have.
Didn't they put a man on the cover recently, or am I confusing them with someone else?
Is "curvy" supposed to be the "Politically correct" and therefore misleading way to say "fat"?
"Fat" is still a perfectly good English word. There is no good reason not to use it.
I have not looked at the picture, so I am guessing.
I've seen the pictures. Pretty face. Fat body. Now: watch this note get deleted by the Correctness Police. Because the word, "fat" might embarrass some fat people. According to the charts, I'm at the edge between overweight and obese, myself. She's obese.
