Biden is a war criminal and a killer (just like his nemisis Putin) and neither he or his govt has any legal or moral authority to ban anyone from owning, selling or possessing a gun.

How is this suppose to stop Southside Chicago gangs from shooting eachother again?

Never mind that the last so-called "Assault Weapons Ban" had no effect on the murder rate when it was in effect. Apparently Biden thinks it worked so well, that he wants to do it again.

Like a trained dog that salivates when you ring a bell, whenever some criminals nutcase shoots innocent people, the liberals react by restricting the guns of law-abiding citizens.

Remind me again, why we keep voting the trained dogs into office?

Biden urges Senate to immediately pass House bills on gun reform
From CNN's Kevin Liptak and Jeff Zeleny

President Biden said he would do everything in his power to keep Americans safe following the latest mass shooting in Colorado and pushed the Senate to immediately pass two House-passed gun reforms, including a universal background checks measure and an assault weapons ban.

"I don't need to wait another minute, let alone an hour, to take common sense steps that will save lives in the future," he said in remarks from the White House.

He listed a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, as well as strengthening the background check system by closing loopholes, as areas he would like to see Congress act on.

Restricting, setting roadblocks, and talk of registration is NOT keeping people safe.

Biden, GET OFF OF MY 2ND AMENDMENT!

It is not there to give me any Right, it is there to protect my natural born Right.

Why am I not surprised there are no responses?

Law abiding citizens? The killer from Boulder may have also been law abiding....until yesterday.
I could be wrong, but he probably bought that firearm legally (for freedom and self defense)...

To the bold, one of the most useless excuses ever formatted for this.

Exactly like me asking anyone, when did you stop beating your wife...

And the daily mass shootings in the inner city are by folks who acquired guns illegally.

So sorry, background checks don’t solve gun violence.

Are these the same people who brought in armed soldiers and barbed wire for protection and still have them guarding the Capital?

So these weapons are OK for their protection but not ours?

OK, got it.

To add insult to injury, it's the same group who wants to ban abortion and weed, as if people aren't just going to go around the law to get it. But with guns, somehow we can't do anything because "criminals will just go around the law and get them anyway." .
I’m in favor of legalizing weed, and all drugs for that matter. If someone wants to commit suicide by injesting chemicals, go ahead. Just don’t expect me to pay for your medical care. And abortion, it’s none of my business, that’s between three people, him, her and the doctor. As far as firearms, its just a tool, like a car, hammer, ammonium nitrate, gasoline or a box cutter. All are dangerous, some more than others. But only one is in the Bill of Rights in the US Constitution.

I’m about as pro gun as you can get. But I got a couple “gun laws” that are common sense I’d accept. One....if you use a gun to commit a crime, add 30 years to the sentence. PERIOD. First time offense. Non negotiable. PERIOD. Juveniles too. Second one...if you are caught doing a “straw purchase” 10 years in jail, minimum. PERIOD. Non negotiable. PERIOD. Unfortunately, we have something called the Eighth Amendment that the bleeding heart lawyers and judges keep on using to release criminals back out on society, to continue to do worse and worse crime. Oh well, just the way it is.
