How about this. We will just ban the AR-15 since it's the number 1 gun of choice for these crazies.

I mean, you gun nuts can live without the AR-15 right? Don't be liberal snowflakes
so all hand guns are "assault weapons"??

The mouth breathers will come back with well hand guns kill the most. Yes they kill the most in BAD, usually ghetto neighborhoods.

These mass shootings are in nice areas where you don't expect any kind of crime of that magnitude. That's the difference.

The AR-15 especially is the gun because you can mow down so many more people.

Australia hasnt had a mass shooting since their ban
Atlanta spa murderer used a handgun so did a number of other murderers, and the AR-15 is the most popular rifle in America among legal non-criminal peaceful target shooters, defense and hunters to a degree also.

But what you fail to mention that needs to be mentioned is these murderers target people that can't or won't fight back so if the murderer in Bolder Colorado had used a shotgun instead the outcome would have been the same.

So by that your title and premise is backwards.

Are you really saying the only reason you care about AR 15s is because you think they're used in nice areas? As opposed to ghettos you evidently don't care about?

It does seem that was what that poster was getting at.

Do traffic laws “solve” accidents? Not really. Minimize them? Absolutely. We don’t ditch traffic laws because they don’t solve 100% of all accidents, but they are there for the benefit of society. Although sometimes they can be annoying. When I hurry to work and the red light stops me for a long time - it’s very annoying. Still I don’t want to get rid of it. It’s the same with firearms.
Gun laws already exist and they work, we don't need anymore.

Of course not.

You want to keep your gun in the car, visible, and not lock your car?

WOW....WHERE?

Glad you admit you don't care about daily killings....says a LOT about you.

So, daily killings are not an issue (and understand this issue is only talking about killing with a gun), but gun violence is out of control?

Folks, can you make this stupid crap up?
Cute but not clever way to twist what I said.
I responded honestly -- do you live in fear of daily kilings?

Because the exception for personal transfers exists for a reason.

It's not a "loophole" that needs to be closed.

And because "universal" background checks are a necessary step towards their next goal....

Universal registration.

AR derivatives are used quite successfully to help control the terrible feral hog and coyote infestation. When you see a group of over 70 of those feral hogs tearing up a crop acreage - a five round mag ain't going to cut it.

Addressing those who buy them, rather than the type of firearm, would seem more relevant to this poster.
