She does not believe right now this second it's worse than Nazi Germany but she realizes the progression of Tyranny and there are some similarities. she fears for the future of lost rights that can turn into governments killing people. the wheels are not in full motion yet.
When some in Germany brushed off what hitler was doing others recognized it and as an other poster has said got out of dodge before it got bad. They figured out what hitler was doing before he did it.
There are many here who will tell you that your parents had it easy compared to having to wear a mask. And they will do so with a straight face.

What happened to my parents as teens, was being nearly starved to death in the ghetto before being taken to the camps, and then nearly being nearly worked to death as well as living on rotten potato peels from the dumpster. Ok what happened to your parents was obviously worse than what is happening now. the point is she sees that it could have a similar outcome not that it's that bad now.
do you see what I mean now? not to take away what happened to your parents but that we should be aware of that because it could happen again. It's bringing more attention to what happened to your parents not less. The way she worded it was in poor taste but I understand what she means.

No matter how many words you type, you cannot make the case that asking citizens to wear a mask for awhile in order to help prevent the spread of a deadly virus for the expressed purpose of keeping their fellow citizens safe and alive has any resemblance whatsoever to the horror of what happened in Nazi Germany. It's preposterous.

It did upset me very much. If it taught anyone on this site anything, though, it was worth it. Too many people compare everything and anything they find unfair or distasteful to murder, torture, and genocide, and it's... truly amazing to me, to say the least.

In Canada you can be detained for covid and you have to pay for the hotel against your will. If you leave that hotel you will be arrested. go look at what's going on in Australia and Spain and other parts of Europe.
