And then if someone told me it was because of a pandemic id have gone "Oh that makes perfect sense"

Any more nonsense?

It was uncalled for and took away people's rights. you are for police going into people's homes if they have a few extra people inside? how about police being called because a child had a play date?

No and that hasn't happened in the US and won't. We've never had a full lockdown, it's been advisory.

https://www.weaselzippers.us/458020-...n-their-house/

what about if you had a restaurant and owned it for 20 years and the state made restrictions so strict it destroyed your business? what if they told you to close for months and you could not recover? that is unconstitutional. the constitution and bill of rights do not go away because people get sick.

they were major violations of rights.

here is another incident that supposedly never happened....
https://www.lifezette.com/2020/05/de...th-other-kids/

churches were limited to how many people they could have in them. another violation of the right to worship and freedom of assembly.

You are comparing the end result of the Nazi plan, what she is saying is that the Nazis started out small, and it slowly grew over years. We are at the first stages of federal tyranny, that is her point. So, stop, think, and reason, don't engage in knee-jerk first impressions.

She's the one that engaged in a knee jerk first impression by even making the comparison imo. A little bit more thinking I'm sure could have furnished her with a better analogy.

Oh rubbish. Quarantine is not optional. Otherwise what's the point? People that have left quarantine (illegally) when they've flown back from somewhere infected with the disease have caused lockdowns for millions of others, ruining livelyhoods for whole cities. Why should one individual be allowed to cause that kind of havoc for millions of their fellow citizens? In places like Australia, where there's no community transmission, it only takes one idiot to cause misery for everyone else.

When they've done their quarantine they're free to go and that's the end of it. Because of these laws, Australia for the most part (excepting international visitors and other such measures) has been completely normal for months.

Oh my god I do not want any part of Australia. the country itself does not treat immigrants well either. don't they put them on an island?

most transmission from this disease is not asymptomatic. you said causing havoc for millions of fellow citizens ha ha I'm laughing so hard. you don't have a constitution you have no rights!!

I have watched videos of Australia. I once thought it was a cool place to go not any more haha.

I heard a politician there say "no jab no job". no thanks I will not be visiting Australia ha ha.

the citizens of Australia should fight their government. do you have the china model there? Green Zones?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77-acb8-ad4 I like whats going on there with citizens though. They are talking about detention centers there though.

Though what area are you in? I heard its really bad in Victoria.

I am ok with quarentene in your own home if the state or government can prove you are sick. you cant just hold people because of suspicion.

That's not the case. Except in certain industries like health care, and aged care.

I heard in only certain parts of Australia there are strict rules. I believe it was victoria where it seemed like a police state.

well if it's only for health care or aged care then that is not that bad. I thought it was for everyone and they needed the vaccine.

the numbers of deaths in the United States are inflated. They labeled anyone that tested positive as a covid death even if they did not die from covid directly. Also, our test is 1000 times more sensitive than in other countries.
