China has been a "super power" since 221 BCE, except during the Qing.
Agree. In Qing dynasty the country was rich but weak in power. It lost the Opium War and all the following wars till 1945. Paying tons of silver to the western countries and being invaded by the Japanese eventually lead to the country bankruptcy. It was not a poor country before Opium War though the Qing government was heavily corrupted with low efficiency.
China's rise will lead to a multipolar world. More realistically China and U.S share power, but by the time China starts to pull away from America due to massive population differences, India would have caught up enough that it will still stay multi-polar. With India, China and America being the largest economies in the world. Indonesia will likely slide into 5th place with only Germany or Japan staying above it.
Did anyone forget the Japanese Occupation of China before WWII ?
The Sino-Japanese war killed approximately 20 million Chinese people.
If it were not for WWII communists would have never defeated the Nationalists.
And please Pray it doesn't happen . And God Forbid.
The Democrats are busy trying to destroy America from within, and with Biden at the helm and the sycophantic news media, they might succeed in the next three years.
