I just checked the last Russian presidential election page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_R...ntial_election

There were 8 candidates.
Independent Vladimir Putin 76.69%
Communist Pavel Grudinin 11.77%
LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky 5.65%

---
Then I checked the US presidential election page
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_U...ntial_election

There were only 2 candidates.
Joe Biden 51.3%
Donald Trump 46.9%
---
Where are US communists, independents?

This is good news for the US long term as he is driving that country into the ground. As major work economies move towards renewables/reduce fossil fuel use, Russia is totally screwed. It will be the second time in a half century they were brought down by financial ineptitude and graft/corruption. (ie- communism doesn't even work a little bit.)

I just checked electricity prices in different countries.
https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/R...ricity_prices/

Russia with its nuclear power: $0.06 kWh.
Germany with its solar and wind power: $0.364 kWh.

Does it mean that the price of manufacturing something is 6 times more expensive in Germany?

It's no wonder that when you open the hood of your BMW, you rarely see labels "Made in Germany" on the parts.

The US Communists are represented well by one of those two main candidates. I will leave it to you to determine which one.

As far as the US independent voters, just because they vote for a candidate, does not cancel their independence from association with the parties. If you mean high-profile independent candidates, they chose not to run as independents because they know they cannot win marketing themselves that way.

However, President Trump was effectively an independent candidate running as a Republican. And the Republican party resented him taking over the party the way that he did with a vengeance.

They were all kicked out when the Rockefellers vetted the list.

I guess he is taking a page from the democrat play book.
