I voted for Trump because of immigration and unfair trade. If Desantis is equal in those areas he has got my vote indeed and if he’s even more stringent than Trump I will help fundraise for him.
Desantis or Trump, I will move to PA and vote for either. It’s where I grew up anyway.
I'm leaving the country if he wins again. Trump's America was hell on earth for anyone who wasn't a white straight fundamentalist Christian. He nearly completely destroyed the U.S. economy and this country's standing in the world. Nevermind the fact he tried to overthrow democracy. That doesn't matter though because he's seen as the man to "reclaim America for Christ" and bring God's law back to this country. If he wins again, this country is finished. Anyone who doesn't want to live in a patriarchal, 1950s society with a third world economy and especially anyone who isn't straight or Christian should think about leaving the country if he wins again. It's hard to imagine the pure terror he would bring upon this country, especially people who aren't the "good Christians" i.e. Baptists, in a second term.

Trump is just trying to still be relevant in the party. He lost his re election, claimed voter fraud and left the White House sullen without the decency of acknowledging our next president. I don't think he wants to go through the humiliation of losing again

All lies, but I'm not going to argue with you. President's are judged by the economy the leave their successors, not the one they inherit and on that, he's the worst since Herbert Hoover.
And I know the true motives of the Republican Party and one of them is LGBTQ people belong back in the closet or executed. Republicans want a "kingdom" ruled by God through a strong man (like Trump) to force everyone in line and bring back that mythical 1950s "perfect America." We can no longer have a Christian America through democratic means so the Republican Party is now out to destroy democracy and impose theocracy by force.
But if you are white and Christian it will be great. Until you aren't the right kind of Christian anymore in a few years.
After the Democrats destroy the economy and everything else it will be a easy win for him.
Trump already did that. It should just be starting to get back on its legs by the 2024 election.
