Close enough.

And there are some things that a President and their administration can do that can effect gas prices.

If an administration is seen as being openly hostile towards the petroleum industry, that alone can make speculation creep upwards.

Response: Opinion

Well done.
You know how the game works....................

Shutting down a major pipeline (Keystone) was so critical to Biden that it was the first thing he did. Have to remember that our greatest threat is Climate.

Now it’s a National Crisis that another pipeline was shut down, it would have been OK and celebrated if JoeBama had been the one to shut it down. Not sure what all the fuss is about, the Leftists want to get rid of Fossil Fuel.

By "they" you mean the Sea Bears? Draw a protection circle, problem solved...and lay off the clarinet.

Russians? No! Considering the left's big push to "Go Green", who trusts this gasoline pipeline disaster? I do not. Any thinking person will looks at this and wonder. How was such a vital commodity left this vulnerable to hackers, foreign or domestic?

I suspect we're being played, manipulated, frightened by our own government into exchanging our gas-powered vehicles for electric ones.

I don't trust this one bit. Should this crisis suddenly end with a "miraculous last-minute fix", before things get really critical, suspect a staging of events to see how far we can be pushed.

Trust no one.

But that's just me.

The Trump administration and the Republican legislature ignored the growing threat of cyber sabotage, especially with respect to Russian operatives, and now we suffer the consequences. We desperately need to harden our IT systems across the board. The US has so many neglected infrastructure problems from potholes to high tech pipelines. We have the right government in control now, and it is high time we act, with or without the GOP.

I was mocked upthread for proactively purchasing a large supply of gasoline. That’s ok.

Also, we need fuel to fight a war.

Where's the proof that Russia did this? Am I missing something?
