For $20.00, a woman buy a two-pack of pregnancy tests and a box of Plan B. If you have an active sex life but aren’t using regular birth control, that twenty dollar investment can literally save your ass.
I’m not against first trimester abortion - at all. And I don’t think this law will stick. But until legal challenges run dry, Texas women can take a few minor precautions to protect themselves.
You can either sit around wringing your hands over this state overreach, or you can say “F this. Not happening to me”, and be prepared. Choice is every women’s to make right now.

I doint disagree with you but out of curiosity I looked online to see if Plan B was available in my area. For just Plan B the costs I saw ranged from 46$ to 50$. Yes cheaper and better all around then trying to get an abortion, just saying be more like 70-90$.
This discussion can go on forever. The bottom line is that abortion has been around since ancient times. And it will always be around no matter how many laws they have to prevent it. Roe V Wade just made it safer for women. These laws are just taking us backwards to times of back alley abortions.
THIS.
Rich women will pay their doctors to assist in medical procedures that are much needed (D & C) as they did for years before Roe vs. Wade.
Lower income women will also pay dearly to unlicensed people because they are desperate.
Roe vs. Wade did not increase the number of abortions...it reduced the fatalities and serious injury to women seeking abortions.

You don't need the brand name. Just look for Levonorgestrel Tablet 1.5 mg. Available from $9.99 to $11.99 from what I've seen.

Just saying this is what was available in my area and the online site I looked at. They did not offer any cheaper brands.
Does one really want to go with cheap for something of that importance. If I were going to get a pregnancy I dont think I would go with the 1$ ones at Dollar General Store.
$35.00 total. Where can one get an abortion for 35.00??
No need to get snippy. I said I totally agreed with you. When I looked at what was available IN MY AREA, MY LOCAL WAL MART, CVC AND WALGREENS, those where the brands/prices for plan B.
What is available in Houston, NYC, Boston, etc. might not be in BFE.
