I don't buy that complaint. It would be the same as not legislating laws against killing a human life. Do you really think murder should be legal?
Help me out then. Cite one time when precedent in what happens for a horse has been taken seriously in a conversion about people.

No one is talking about murder in this thread, this is about abortion. Stay on topic.

Then it's time for SCOTUS to actually abide by their sworn oath to defend and support the US Constitution which does NOT guarantee healthcare to anyone, and that includes abortions.

Even assuming you had a point that could actually win in the Supreme Court (there’s a reason they didn’t hear this case), it would still find this law in Texas unconstitutional as the civil suits it enables violate the 4th Amendment.
Read their release. SCOTUS didn't hear the case because those who brought it to the Court did not have standing. And, no,it's not unconstitutional. Discovery bypasses the 4th Amendment. Such is true in any lawsuit, not just one involving abortion.

We're all talking about murder. Already codified as such in fetal homicide laws.

Despite the fact that I'm a big fan of abortion because I think anyone who would kill their child shouldn't pollute future generations with their genes, i do find it curious that the "my choice" rhetoric drops in an instant when men argue it should be their choice to pay child support.

If giving birth is a woman's choice, why should anyone have a responsibility to help them with the costs associated with their choice?

People either gain a responsibility to children when they choose to have unprotected sex, or they don't. You can't have it both ways.

You’re saying abortion is “homicide” on one hand, then calling it “healthcare” on another. This is called talking our both sides of your mouth. You wouldn’t pass the first semester of law school with that blatant inconsistency. Your mincing of legal terms certainly works on this forum’s main demographic though.

Now that they have taken "my body my choice" away from those who don't want the vaccine.

This law makes me laugh.

I am now fully in support of it.. and I definitely will be "pro life" from now on.

I hope all red states enact something similar.

Good question.

You misunderstand. The pro-abortion contingent insists it is healthcare. They'll take it to Court as such, mark my words. And, in fact, Roe v. Wade was decided as it was on the basis of guaranteeing the 4th Amendment Right to privacy of health status and records, NOT any form of healthcare itself.

Obviously, they didn't think that through...

Which talks about "unborn children", as the specific term, which is distinctly different than children. It also has not conflicted with the precedent set by Roe v. Wade. Again, murder is not accurate when discussing abortion. This is a conversation about the religious right restricting women's rights.
