He broke the first rule of giving a speech. Don't tell your audience to clap or react if they don't want to.
I love listening to Hannity. He's so funny with his description of Biden. He calls him Sippy Cup Biden. Biden's got no sense. How embarrassing for him.
Well, the combined student bodies of West Point and Annapolis number 9,000. What should we call those who believe it's 70,000?
You are right the word cadet was a poor choice but he was well received at those games with around 70,000 in attendance. Some cadets, some former cadets, some veterans and some plain football fans.
Although in general the military is courteous enough to give a good reception to whoever the president is at those games.
I was thinking about all of the presidents that I can recall watching. I was too young to really know or understand Carter, at the time anyways. Looking back through history at his record he was considered by some one of the worst presidents we've had in recent times. Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, Obama, Trump. All of these men were in much sharper and much better shape overall. Bush II was a bit buffoonish at times, but he was still there. He just had weird mannerism or whatever.
Biden is a husk. He reads his speeches and doesn't truly know what he's saying. Not really, he's not sharp and not versed in the material. You can tell.
The snippets I saw of the speech was embarrassing. The people there at the graduation ceremony couldn't give a rip that Biden was speaking to them.
Trump had standing Ovations with 70,000 Cadets at the Army / Navy games all his years.
Like all tyrants, he demands his people applaud to show enthusiastic approval for every utterance he makes.
