He came out unscathed because Mueller didn't think he could indict a sitting president. He didn't exonerate him, but Barr did, so that's how that ended.

As far as the impeachments go, McConnell is the one who stood in the way of him being impeached in the Senate.

Not being indicted in the Mueller investigation and not being impeached in the Senate has nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that there was plenty of evidence. Two people stood in the way in both instances. That does not for innocence make.

Yeah, Trump should have been investigated back in the 80s. I guess better late than never.

Investigation coming out of New York on Trump crimes. While the governor of New York sends old folks to their deaths........All this dog and pony show is to harass Trump for four years in order to keep him out of office and to keep the China Train rolling, controlled by their Gray Comrade and China bribe taken goon and side kick Ms. Giggles.

Martha Stewart was insider trading nothing to do with her company, the others are publicly owned companies in a privately held entity its much harder to steal from yourself other than for tax purposes, which is unlikely to be criminal charges. We shall see.

It comes down to whether one believes the Ukraine phone call was impeachable or not. And if you look at it from the right or left you see different things. I am a moderate, a independent, a Libertarian. I don't care about either party. I saw impeachment with Trump as well as Clinton as a waste of time. The 2nd Trump impeachment was almost certainly unconstitutional. Neither was going to be removed from office. So the act of doing it was simply politics and a bad idea. And all three occasions it backfired.

Trump did a lot of "wrong" things as POTUS. But none rose to the level of removing him from office. We have elections. That is where it should be settled. And it was in 2020.

What do you know for a fact Trump was doing back in the 80's that was illegal and worthy of investigation? Should they have investigated Trump just because he was a public figure and a loud mouth? Plus he donated heavily back then to the Democrats. If Trump ran and won in 2016 as a Democrat there would be no investigation today.

If it was justice and not revenge I would agree. All this does is motivate Trump's base. No matter what the outcome. And if all of this results in nothing more than a slap on the wrist of Trump, no jail time or anything then it motivates Trump's base and depresses the Democrats.

Since Donald Trump thinks he's a bully, I think he should be sentenced to serve his time a state penitentiary with the general prison population.

The grad jury is not just investigating Trump during the next 6 moths.
They have other cases they must make decisions on as well, which is why they will be taking 6 months.

Martha Stewart was caught in a perjury trap, she went to prison for lying.
