Trump used the presidency and the DOJ as a shield. The shield is gone.

Further, he spent years screaming "lock her up!" regarding Hillary.

Democrats are just bitter that Hillary was going to go to prison so they are hoping it will happen to Trump. Which it won’t. Worst case scenario, the organization gets fined. Big whoop.

From the link in the OP:

The panel was convened recently and will sit three days a week for six months. It is likely to hear several matters — not just the Trump case *— during its term,
So, the alleged grand jury is a catch-all grand jury, for a number of different matters that have nothing to do with Trump?

which is longer than a traditional New York state grand-jury assignment, these people said. Like others, they spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation. ...
"People said". Is there actually a grand jury to hear the alleged Trump matter, and a bunch of other non-related matters too? Has it ever been verified, other than 'someone said'?

So, it's all about revenge?

Go to prison for what? Did it happen? No? Ok then.

Revenge? If he's not guilty of anything, he has nothing to fear. Trump personally profited while in office, had his family running the administration and hid his financials like no president in the last 50 years. For a man that screamed "lock her up" for years, he of the "law and order" party should support the investigation. He spent years using the DOJ as his personal protector, even having them go after Melania's former friend. What kind of DOJ does THAT? Trump's DOJ said he could not be prosecuted as president. Well, not he's not president.

Yes, see your above comment. No reason for you to even mention it otherwise.

Are you that naive to believe there never was anyone who'd been found guilty, only to later learn they were innocent? Look how elaborate the Russia Russia Russia scheme was.

Seems many might have profited while in political office.

Well, it sure wasn't the same DoJ, FBI, etc., that protected Hillary and others.

It's called the laws of the land. If a prosecutor finds enough evidence to present in a timely manner . Then going to the grand jury for an indictment allows the judicial system to concur or deny the prosecutors allegations.

Sure hope you support laws being adhered to and investigated.

Yep. Biden* and his son need to be investigated for their dealings.

Trump will get off. He doesn't leave a paper trail or an email trail and in the past has been able to blame others. So unless they get someone to really flip, he'll pay a fine and move on saying he was acting on the advice of the professionals.
