I think the intent was to help spot a bomb or a suspect with weapons. Not spot those who hold non mainstream political views.

I can’t believe anyone here really thinks we shouldn’t be reporting loved ones, friends or neighbors who we honestly think are a danger and could kill innocent people. It’s not turning on loved ones, it’s protecting the public.
The unibomber was caught through a tip from his brother
The guy who murdered the asians in the massage parlor was caught from a tip from his parents.
This is good. How can anyone honestly think this is bad. Explain yourselves please.
The thing is, in America we don’t arrest or jail people until they’ve actually committed a crime. We don’t have the resources available to trail every single person in this country who ought to be watched, so where do you think this administration will center its efforts? On their political opponents and supporters, if you’re willing to be honest.

McCarthy era stuff. Or witch trials.

Correct.
However that was in regards to “ terrorism” inflicted by Jihadists and enemies of the United States. This Regime is placing Americans vs Americans in order to perpetuate a myth. A myth of domestic terrorism by white Supremacists. The Twin Towers falling with 3000 plus deaths and the related misery is a fact. The “ crisis” of white supremacy based domestic terrorism is a fantasy.

Still not time for civil war? At what point will it be?

Can the republicans get in house/senate in 2022 and stop this from continuing or will it be too late? I bet the left know they will lose house/senate so will speed this up as quickly as they can.

Bad, because this is political. You are thinking it's just like those crime tip TV shows. It's not. The Democrats have already done an ideological purge of the US military.

Currently it is "progressive" to criticize whites but "racist" to criticize blacks. If you cannot see that then you have been radicalized to the left.

Put your centrist cap on. Biden's DOJ is not prosecuting BLM rioters. Kamala Harris even helped bail them out. So we know Democrats are going after Trump supporter "wrong-think". It's political.

The radical left wants to restructure our whole society and conservatives are in their way.

These are the same tactics of McCarthyism – making accusations, tell on your neighbors, only difference is now the targets have changed. Time for the Supreme Court to step in and ensure our liberty.

Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that Deputy AG Lisa Monaco (Obama crew) will lead a “whole of government” effort to label any political opposition to the Biden regime as “domestic terrorists”.

To facilitate that objective, Garland announced that DAG Monaco is reconstituting “the domestic terrorism executive committee“, an investigative agency process used in the aftermath of the Oklahoma bombing in 1995. Additionally, Garland is noting the January 6th Capitol Hill protest was the current equivalent of the 1995 bombing that killed 168 people and injured 680. The Domestic Terrorism committee, led by Monaco, will focus their efforts at ensuring the center of U.S. government is never again put at risk.

You only need to watch the first 4 minutes of the video below to see the framework of the narrative being deployed. Garland’s statements align with Nancy Pelosi’s legislative demand to weaponize a January 6th Commission for the same political intents and purposes.

In the background of these maneuvers Big Tech and Corporate Media have been instructed to push the “domestic extremist” narrative; and any truth-tellers are considered subversive, ie. against the interests of the U.S. government.

Approximately 100 million American voters are considered dissidents now.

So that makes it normal or acceptable?

Bet a lot of folks said the same thing in Nazi Germany.
