Bet a lot of folks said the same thing in Nazi Germany.
The fbi wouldn't have been able to arrest 500 people and counting for the Jan 6 attack without those tips from family, friends, coworkers and neighbors. So yeah, it is good.

You don't think Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and the others won't turn you in with their facial recognition software.

They are worse than any family or friends.

To facilitate that objective, Garland announced that DAG Monaco is reconstituting “the domestic terrorism executive committee“, an investigative agency process used in the aftermath of the Oklahoma bombing in 1995. Additionally, Garland is noting the January 6th Capitol Hill protest was the current equivalent of the 1995 bombing that killed 168 people and injured 680. The Domestic Terrorism committee, led by Monaco, will focus their efforts at ensuring the center of U.S. government is never again put at risk.

You only need to watch the first 4 minutes of the video below to see the framework of the narrative being deployed. Garland’s statements align with Nancy Pelosi’s legislative demand to weaponize a January 6th Commission for the same political intents and purposes.

In the background of these maneuvers Big Tech and Corporate Media have been instructed to push the “domestic extremist” narrative; and any truth-tellers are considered subversive, ie. against the interests of the U.S. government.

Approximately 100 million American voters are considered dissidents now.

OH -- MY --

UNBELIEVABLE! I am now convinced that we are now heading for a purge of non-leftists. And, lest you think I am being overly dramatic, here is someone actually presenting the idea of reeducation camps for Trump supporters. https://foxbaltimore.com/news/nation...rump-votersthe transcript.

And for those who want to read what was said, here is the transcript of Garland's speech: https://www.rev.com/blog/transcripts...ech-transcript

And, btw, this leaves NO doubt that he is not just talking about Islamic terrorists!

Here are just four excerpts from the transcript (my italics) -- and, btw, there was NO mention was made of the BLM rioters in the entire speech, despite saying, in so many words, that the measures being undertaken would be free of bias.

EXCERPT #1: "Our current effort comes on the heels of another large and heinous attack, this time the January 6th assault on our nation’s capital. We have now, as we have then, an enormous task ahead to move forward as a country, to punish the perpetrators, to do it everything possible to prevent similar attacks and to do so in a manner that affirms the values on which our justice system is founded and upon which our democracy depends. The resolve and dedication with which the Justice Department has approached the investigation of the January 6th attack reflects the serious illness with which we take this assault on a mainstay of our democratic system, the peaceful transfer of power."

EXCERPT #2: "According to an unclassified summary of the March Intelligence Assessment, the two most lethal elements of the domestic violence extremist threat are racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists and militia violent extremists. In the FBI’s view, the top domestic violent extremist threat comes from racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists, specifically those who advocate for the superiority of the white race." (bold added)

EXCERPT #3: [i]"As the National Strategy makes clear safeguarding our country’s civil rights and liberties is itself a vital national security imperative. We do not prosecute people for their beliefs. Across the world, extremist or terrorist labels have at times been affixed to those perceived as political threats to the ruling order. But there is no place for partisanship in the enforcement of the law. The Justice Department will not tolerate any such abuse of authority." [i]

EXCERPT #4: "The Department of Homeland Security is also focused on community-based violence prevention programs in order to empower and revamp support to community partners who can help to prevent individuals from ever reaching the point of committing a terrorist attack. The Department of Defense will train service members on the potential targeting of current and former military members by violent extremists in order to help prevent radicalization." [END EXCERPT] Question: Are they concerned about some kind of military coup?

Now you will, of course, note Excerpt #3 about there being no tolerance for partisanship. So, by that, I take it to mean that they will monitor "radical" leaders of the BLM members to the same degree as they will monitor the organizers of Trump rallies, for example?

And, btw, I am NOT a Trump supporter, but this new plan scares me like nothing else has concerning our government in my entire 67 years!

See something say something. Fbi tip line or homeland security.

Some of the Jan 6 arrests were made from tip line calls identifying family and friends.
Why wouldn’t we want to help the fbi catch a criminal or potential terrorists.

It was, for awhile, until voices said that "if you see something, say something" was racist.

Interestingly, this administration sees anyone who voted for Trump, doesn't support BLM or CRT, or criticized last summer's riots as "radical."

Even more interestingly, I see NO mention of Trump, BLM, or CRT in the article you cite.

WHY is that?

I can’t believe anyone here really thinks we shouldn’t be reporting loved ones, friends or neighbors who we honestly think are a danger and could kill innocent people. It’s not turning on loved ones, it’s protecting the public.
The unibomber was caught through a tip from his brother
The guy who murdered the asians in the massage parlor was caught from a tip from his parents.
This is good. How can anyone honestly think this is bad. Explain yourselves please.
We don't trust the people behind it.
