Yes , free speech is a right afforded to each and every American. What is dangerous though, is when that free speech is based on false narratives. This is a perfect example, of that. She is basing her anti American attitude on a false narrative that has been blathered on and on since 2014.
That is the dilemma. The leftists should know a thing or two about this since they've whined about it all through the last presidency, and many of the left leaning CEO's of social media platforms have been successful in censoring it.
Not sure what the correct thing to do is. I guess we fall back to our Bill of Rights and hope the system of checks and balances works for all of us.
Republicans across the country are exercising their free speech and anti-democracy attitude over a false narrative too. Most of them believe the election was stolen, when it clearly wasn't. They're gathering for 'rallies' and talking about it to anyone who will listen. Do you also believe that to be dangerous? I'd say that's a lot more dangerous than an athlete nobody has heard of exercising her right to free speech over your so called 'false narrative'.

I believe it can be. What happened Jan 6th proves that. And they are being censored.
We are seeing the results of being free to speak about a false narrative , athletes and many others like her, are turning their backs on America. Divides between classes are widening. Divides between races are widening. Resentment against law and order is growing. Policies being developed. All based on a false pretense, not facts. This is obviously not an issue for you, yet a small group of voters that question the election results is. Interesting.

Can't she renounce her citizenship, and move to, perhaps, Nigeria or Liberia? I don't get it.
A number of American NBA players are going to represent nations like Nigeria in the Olympics (thought I think some of them have next to no roots in their immediate family that would justify such treason).
I think they should get on with it. But we know they won't. They have it way too good in places like America than they ever would in Nigeria, or Liberia, or Somalia.
