Yes , free speech is a right afforded to each and every American. What is dangerous though, is when that free speech is based on false narratives. This is a perfect example, of that. She is basing her anti American attitude on a false narrative that has been blathered on and on since 2014.
That is the dilemma. The leftists should know a thing or two about this since they've whined about it all through the last presidency, and many of the left leaning CEO's of social media platforms have been successful in censoring it.
Not sure what the correct thing to do is. I guess we fall back to our Bill of Rights and hope the system of checks and balances works for all of us.

Sheesh, just when you thought you had enough of football and basketball players acting like fools during the national anthem, now you have Olympic qualifying athletes starting to do the same. And she thinks it was a set up.
Could you imagine a basketball player ripping off his jersey, turning his back on the team, saying the team never represented him. This is just a selfish little girl, making it all about herself. She is not representing the USA, she only represents her own selfish interests. She should be kicked off the US team.

Every "slippery slope" ever that liberals derided or pooh-poohed has come true. Every one. They are pathological liars - they always have an ulterior motive in what they do
People are allowed to protest whatever they want. But do it on their own time and at their own destination.
People can go to her place she chooses to support her. But don’t do it at a public venue. Likely paying audience.
Imagine every high school or college graduate who wants to protest for whatever they want. Peta, Asians lives, black lives etc. it would create chaos at these events.
So if you support what she’s doing at a public event. Than you should let anyone protest peacefully walking across the stage to accept their diploma. No matter how you feel about their protest.
