Keep on making fun of those North Eastern states jack ass.

Jacksonville Regenron site. Keep thinking your Gov. actually cares about you, follow his guidance and the next thing you know you'll be on the floor of a public library gasping for air.
You haven't given us any context as to what's going on there. If this were happening all over, don't you think it would be reported on?

People are going to die, deal with it.

You can't get premature deaths to 0 in society, it's impossible

When you try to stop everyone from dying, instead what you do is stop everyone from living.

And then the people die anyways.

Local Jacksonville news article from Wednesday in Florida about the state run monoclonal antibody treatments clinic - 1 of 2 state runs clinics in the state of Florida. One site in Jacksonville(see article) and another in Orlando.

Would be good to get more state run clinics throughout Florida.

And a bigger waiting room with more seating (or reduce the wait time by hiring more staff)

...wheelchairs are offered at the site, but at the time the photo was taken, they were all filled by other patients.

“In order to support the State of Florida in their efforts to provide this important treatment.... providing triple the number of wheelchairs, additional seating for those waiting in line and signage that directs patients to alert someone if they need any type of assistance”

If you look at the Florida government/governors site... that's the plan. They're focusing on where people are most at risk and the most vulnerable. https://www.flgov.com/

What folks often forget... Florida gets 120,000,000 (or more) visitors each year. When you factor influx of people you realize how difficult the logistics could be. Florida is #3 in population and #2 in tourists ... not to mention seasonal citizens.

Now the media is trying to do another hit job on Governor DeSantis about Regeneron. Sheesh! even the news outlets in Florida, who are mostly liberal, are AGAIN defending Gov. DeSantis.

Here's the hit job report and the responses.

Hit job... https://apnews.com/article/joe-biden...424e19b3ed994f

Response ... https://www.tampabay.com/news/florid...ion-explained/

A company run by a major DeSantis donor holds Regeneron stock. Here’s where the controversy begins.

Billionaire Ken Griffin, who has donated $10.75 million to DeSantis’ political committee over the years, runs a hedge fund that held about $37 million in institutional shares of Regeneron as of June 30, according to Nasdaq. This connection was unearthed then shared by political foes of DeSantis, and also published by the Associated Press in a story heavily criticized by the Republican governor’s team.

There’s a lot of important context to consider with these numbers, and you can read more on Twitter.

DeSantis spokesperson Christina Pushaw pointed out that the hedge fund, Citadel, manages about $35 billion in assets. Citadel also owns more institutional shares in Moderna, one of the companies that produced a coronavirus vaccine, than it does Regeneron, per Nasdaq.

According to DeSantis’ schedule, the governor had a call with Regeneron CEO Dr. Leonard Schleifer on Aug. 4 — the same day he began to promote monoclonal antibodies in earnest alongside Florida hospital officials. Bowie said Schleifer spoke to Desantis about “how monoclonal antibody treatments work and which patients are appropriate to receive treatment.”

And here he is telling people to take caution in getting booster shots!

Booster shots don't fund his political donors or his kids trust funds!
