The county I live in has two Cracker Barrels and one Whole Foods. We also have a Trader Joe's and a Sprouts Farmers Market.

I agree. Great breakfast.

Never darkened the door of a Whole Foods.

I have visited Whole Foods several times this year. It has many things I like. I haven't seen the inside of a Cracker Barrel in over 5 years.

No not allowed.

You must choose one, and you must match the stereotype of the one you choose. If you choose Whole Foods you must act like an effete millennial with skinny jeans and a top knot, wearing loafers with no socks and randomly saying "well actually...". Lumberjack beard is optional. If you choose Cracker Barrel you must dress in flannel and drool a little while blowing a tune in to an empty cider jug and randomly yelling out racial epithets. Lumberjack beard is optional. Otherwise you will confuse the algorithms and create a glitch in the matrix.

Democrats have been gaining in primarily suburban counties that have Whole Foods Markets, while Republicans have been gaining in primarily rural areas that have Cracker Barrels. The “gap” has been steadily growing since Bill Clinton won in 1992.

1992: Clinton carried 60% of Whole Food counties, but just 20% of Cracker Barrel counties for a gap of 40%.
2000: Bush carried 43% of WF counties; 75% of CB for a gap of 32%.
2008: Obama won 78% of WF counties; 36% of CB for a gap of 42%.
2016: Trump won 22% of WF counties; 74% of CB for a gap of 52%
2020: Biden won 85% of WF counties; 32% of CB for a gap of 53%

Another way of stating it from the same article; the larger the number of white college graduates in an area, the more likely it’s a Democratic area.
That's not the original comparison, the original comparison is places with Whole Foods stores vs places with Tractor Supply Co. stores

Whole Foods used to have a pretty good breakfast buffet before the pandemic. Not sure about it anymore.

I never go to either one. I guess that is why I am Libertarian.

Looks like I’ll be eating at Cracker Barrel tonight after buying groceries at Walmart.
