Given Biden's absolute disaster of a "presidency" he is forced to blame someone else for everything.
Whatever happened to "the buck stops here"?
Obama was the master of deflection and blaming others; he is calling the shots now, so it is not surprising that he will blame someone else. Did Obama ever take responsibility for anything during his time as POTUS?
He is probably goin to explain that the Taliban are the Jay-Vee TEAM, nothing to worry about.

Mullah Baradar, a founder and leader of the Taliban and now the new ruler of Afghanistan was in prison but released at Trumps request. Trump brokered a 'peace' deal with the Taliban without the knowledge of the legitimate government of Afghanistan. Trump promised to be out of Afghanistan by May 1 of this year.
In spite of all this, it certainly can not be Trumps fault! Can it?
The Trump Admin legitimized the Taliban.
The former Trump Admin has developed amnesia as it relates to Afghanistan and it’s role in legitimizing the Taliban. This amnesia is as contagious as Covid. Trump supporting media and Trump’s base have been infected.
Afghanistan was a disaster in 2001 when the US invaded it. Despite 20 years, spending $1 trillion and loss of thousands of lives, it remains a disaster.
I have not come across anything factual that supports the Trump Admin had a plan to resettle those Afghanistans who helped the US, despite the risks being well known in 2020. It was well known the Taliban was not living up to their end of the deal, when all but 6000 troops were withdrawn in 2020
The Trump Admin picked the winners and losers.
And now it’s likely 30 million claim to have helped the US and want to be resettled.
Biden inherited a no win situation and it’s likely intentional.
Trobesmom, I respectfully refer you to Dan Crenshaw's interview this morning on FOX. Though I ascertain that this is not something that you may choose to do, what he says about his fellow countrymen that he fought with in Afghanistan, and the reasoning for our involvement in that country after 9/11, may shed a different light on those in our military who lost their lives there.
Thank you for that. It's easy for us who live in safety in the US and have no idea of the inner workings of what is going on in Afghanistan to make generalized assumptions.
I'm aware the rest of the world thinks it's a mistake but how many of our men and women do YOU want to lose keeping people safe who won't even fight for themselves?
Freedom isn’t free, nor is fighting terrorism.
It’s not about if Afghans can fight for themselves. It’s about fighting terrorism and keeping Afghanistan out of the hands of Russia, China, Pakistan, and Iran.
Now it’s too late. Afghanistan will be the Islamic version of North Korea, propped up nicely by Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.
We still have troops in Iraq and Kuwait. Why? Because freedom isn’t free.

As awful as this whole thing is, this is what the Afghans want. It's their country. We can't fight the Taliban AND the Afghan army, who apparently stepped aside and let the Taliban proceed.
We shouldn't have been "country building" in the first place, and left them to their squalor.
