Not correct. We do not have a vaccine for the common cold because the common cold is caused by so many different viruses.

Every study I've read has Pfizer over 80.

Maybe their sample wasn't the best

Nah..... I think I'm done with vaccines, mask mandates, lockdowns, and government control of everyone's lives.

You're so short-sighted.

Half this thread is talking about boosters and annual shots.

Wake the F up, mom. Think past your nose, for once. Sheesh.

I care about as much about getting mild COVID as I do about getting a cold or mild flu. It is the death and severe disease that I really care about, and the Pfizer vaccine does very well preventing that.
Ok, that's you. But what about those of us who care about transmission and the risk of long-haul COVID? At this point I really would like to have a third dose.

I'm glad I got Pfizer. It's been the better vaccine over time

Or until they come up with a better vaccine. This was the first go-round. Scientists will learn more as we go. I'm optimistic that within 10 years there will be better options out there than what exists now, maybe much sooner.

Confidence Intervals are pretty wide. Look at Moderna’s June vs July. It drops to 62% but then rebounds to 76%. Pfizer May have just had a bad month in July statistically speaking. You can also look at Pfizer’s June and say, 82%, wow it’s great.
