Even if the Reuter’s article is correct - and it could be - that still doesn’t negate the fact that there is a chance nurses will become infected regardless of vaccination status. If the reasoning for firing these nurses is because they could spread the virus to a patient, then that should apply to other nurses as well. Besides, it’s not like unvaccinated nurses wouldn’t be taking the exact same precautions and wearing the same protective equipment as the others.

The reality is that the hospital wants to make an example of those who won’t go along with the plan.

Maybe the reality of this virus isn't everything the media is telling people it is. The human race survived pandemics before vaccines.
Well I guess all these field hospitals being built in Alabama, Florida and Texas don't tell the real story.

It's a reference to vaccines in general (as opposed to specifically the covid-19 vaccines). Including measles, smallpox, polio, etc.

Before these vaccines, infant mortality was very high compared to today.

Don’t pretend that all scientists and doctors agree about this very new vaccine. I predict that you will soon be complaining about hospitals being overwhelmed due to staffing shortages. This is not smart.

Firing healthcare workers is really short sighted. There are still many unknowns with the vaccine. This is a terrible plan.

Keeping all the nurses but having more and more patients will still make the shortage worse. The problem is that all of the protesting against vaccine rules is only serving to encourage more people to not get vaccinated, which means more people going to the hospital, needing more nurses.

Sure they do, just like the hospital ships and refrigerated 'morgues' lined up behind hospitals in New York last year.
