The same people who are angry that hospitals are overwhelmed in part due to staffing shortages are cheering on the firing of healthcare workers for refusing the shot.
And rebelling against the vaccine is only going to make the problem worse.
So... what about the FACT that vaccination doesn’t keep you from becoming infected? How does an unvaccinated nurse coming down with Covid endanger a patient more than one who is vaccinated, given the FACT that we’re seeing similar viral loads carried by both groups?
The vaccines reduce the chance of being infected by at least 50%.
I have 5 rotating medical people coming to my house every two weeks, none of them are vaccinated, one of them told me her sister had such a bad reaction to J&J, she decided not to get the shot. Nurses can come to NY and work private care for the elderly and make plenty of money, it's cheaper than paying for a nursing home.
I had a representative for insurance company telling me it's a good thing that I didn't get vaccinated. She told me that they had a lot of claims for health problems come up after the person got vaccinated.
Oh please, stop with the drama. Without vaccines we would all probably be dead.
This is not true. I'm unvaccinated and still alive. I've lived through 18 months of this. And I can't wear a face covering either. And I talk to strangers.
Maybe the reality of this virus isn't everything the media is telling people it is. The human race survived pandemics before vaccines.
Way to totally and completely dismiss people’s concerns.
The vaccines are the best tool we have to keep the hospital from being over-run. Encouraging people to stand up for their "right" to take up space in the hospital is not the best way to address a nurse shortage.
