Some people bought into Trump's sob story about how the press wasn't always nice to him.
I think you're seeing two things. One is that people who were asleep are now being rudely awakened. Trump surrendered to the Taliban. They're just now realizing it and, well, Trump surrendered to the Taliban. A lot of people who really shouldn't have been sleeping though their security briefings were sleeping though their security briefings.
Second is while everyone was busy with other stuff, turns out nobody was paying much attention to the practicalities of that we were surrendering to the Taliban. As such despite having many months to do so, well, it didn't happen very smoothly at all. As oops go it's pretty big.

Nope. In fact I remember quite a few friends and family who voted for him having complaints throughout the years. I voted for him and I had some complaints too. Yet Trump is considered by MAGA the best thing to happen to the USA since 1776, a figure who never did any wrong and who could never do it. He was perfect to them. Look at the mental gymnastic people - including you - are going through to blame Biden 100% for Afghanistan. Even when you say Bush and Obama are to blame too, people still move the goalpost to get Trump out of it. So we can blame Obama, who hasnt been president in 5 years, but can't blame Trump, who let the current Taliban president out of prison?
I can't recall a time where any of my Trump-voting friends ever pulled out a complaint on Trump. They may have not saw him as completely untouchable and they werent MAGA brainwashed, but any criticism of him was met with deflection or the good old ignore tactic.
Because no one treated Obama or treats Biden like a demagogue like Trump was. No one treated Bush like one either. Trump on the other hand was and still is literally worshiped by people. Folks literally claim he was sent here by Jesus himself. Meanwhile those same folks called Obama the antichrist. That should be enough.
I do know what Marxism is. Clearly you do not. You cloak yourselves in such phrases as progressives, democratic socialists, social activists, community activists because most Americans remain openly hostile to Marxism.
