Biden probably feels that the 'Walls are Closing In' on him, but he will eventually emerge from the basement of Camp Davis unscathed and praised by the msm for his decisive and swift actions despite the number of deaths. Kamala will be describes as 'Stunning and Brave' for dodging this fiasco by saying 'You will not pin this s*it on me'.
I have been surprised at the level of criticism coming from the MSM against Biden. Biden can ramp up inflation, balloon the debt, create a crisis at the border, mismanage Covid, blatantly violate the constitution w/ eviction moratorium, and the press just sits and smiles.
But this cluster is apparently even too much for them.
The mainstream press is like bankruptcy...."gradually and then suddenly," to quote Hemingway. If you're a Democrat they'll cover for you all day long...call every Republican a Nazi (no matter how milquetoast), and carry as much water as possible for the DNC and their fellow travelers...until there is a possibility of blow back, or a wounded Democrat presents an opportunity for someone connected to advance politically, then they're all in. If I were a Republican in DC I'd be toasting ol' Joe tonight...the images coming out of Afghanistan are going to stick I'm afraid.
Nobody's buying the "it was Trump's deal" excuse. He may have made a deal to pull out, but nobody thinks it would have been executed like Joe did it. Trump was a baller who flat out ordered the assassination of a foreign military officer. There would be pink Taliban mist all over the place. The airmen flying the drones would think they really were playing a video game, they'd be hitting so many targets.
Liberals don't worship the POTUS the way that the right-wingers worship theirs and pegged them to be infallible.
We will criticize Biden when he deserves to be criticized.

These are not buzzwords, these are Marxist ideologies that the left and Joe Biden support and embrace. Biden among the leftists believe in a paradisiacal future and the perfectibility of man, but this end can only happen through the means of the existing society and culture must be radically transformed or abandoned. Individuals must surrender their liberty, free will, and security to the cause. It is ideologies such as these that create mass movements of society’s dissatisfied, maladjusted, disenchanted that Eric Hoffer explains in “True Believer.”
There is an Americanized adaptation of Marxism in America today. Felicity Barringer New York Times education writer penned the “Mainstreaming of Marxism in US Colleges.” She reveals how Karl Marx’s ideological heirs in Communist nations struggle to transform his political legacy, his intellectual heirs on American campuses was not really taking. There was just too little in common and western economies made Marxism irrelevant.
So there is a Americanized adaptation of Marxism which still uses Marx’s core precepts and contextualizes them to the American system. Marxism and feminism. Marxism and deconstruction, Marxism and race. Critical theory is a Marxist theory, hence Critical Race Theory. So rather than using class structure as a vessel to implement Marxism, race is that vessel. Through Critical Race Theiry, it unravels the existing society by weaponizing the culture against itself.
The assault on American history, institutions, and traditions using such schemes as the 1619 project is an example of Americanized Marxism.

I think part of it is that during the Trump years, both cable networks named, justly, had so much to criticize, that they felt they must 'balance the pendulum', if you will, by coming up with criticism of President Biden, so 'even it out' and prove their 'non-partisan' nature.
Fox News does not seem to be burdened with this crises of conscious.
Anyway, I, a liberal (or, a conservative back when that meant something, but now I am a RINO), find a lot to complain about concerning President Biden. Yet, he is so head and shoulders above the corrupt Trump family, that I am willing to undergo more Biden missteps.
The new leader of the Taliban was released from a Pakistani prison in 2018 at the specific request of then-President Trump. Shall we discuss that?
You can't seriously be oblivious to all the corruption in the Biden family?
