I think we can agree that negotiating with terrorists always has downsides to say the least. Having said that, today's events fall squarely on the Biden administration. With such a cluster, the "leader" of our country has taken off again both mentally and physically. We aren't supporting our allies, we apparently don't have a well-thought-out plan in place to bring our citizens home, the Taliban has our weapons and equipment, our reputation has been significantly tarnished, and posters like yourself are far more concerned about your own reputation than calling a spade a spade. So I think you've answered your own question.
no sir.

Poster's like myself are pointing out the history of how we got here today...

I never said Biden would be solely responsible. There are many others in his administration and cabinet who are empty headed. But why are you disagreeing with what I said?
I don't recall Trump supporters were saying that US needs to withdrawal from Astan in chaos with people hanging on the wheel of military airplanes or leaving 10,000 American citizens behind for the Taliban or one billion dollars worth of military hardware as a farewell gift for the Taliban.
Besides, it is really a "withdrawal" when Biden just sent an additional 5000 US troops to Astan?
That’s not the argument in this thread. People are blaming Biden for letting Afghanistan fall to the Taliban.
For all of you who are giving Biden a Pass, saying he's not solely responsible, let me remind you what he said just days ago:
Quote:
“I will not mislead the American people... nor will I shrink (sic; s/b shirk) from my share of responsibility... I'm President of the United States of America, the buck stops with me”
I also do not give the US Intelligence community a pass either - they are either totally incompetent or are complicit in this clusterF! But Biden is still the 'Big Guy' and should go down!
He's absolutely not passing the buck on the current fiasco in Afghanistan.
I'm NOT giving him a pass, either.
We are discussing the reality of how we got to where we are today and the fact that he is NOT solely responsible for any and all future terrorist attacks on the US.

He is responsible.
How the hell do you fight Al-Qaeda and ISIS from your living room? You don’t.

This administration will not be solely responsible for any and all future terrorist attacks on the United States.

Do you want him to go over there?
