That's all I'm saying.
Biden and his administration's actions are directly influencing the change in power in Afghanistan by legitimizing the Taliban and Al Quada (since they are very much connected) and walking away leaving so many stranded. This show of weakness will affect future terrorist attacks on the US. Every minute of every day is becoming more unbelievable. When we saw people chasing aircraft at the Kabul airport, that is when things were easy. It is exponentially worse now on the ground than it was before.

Some people really need to stop being so disconnected from reality.

You might be surprised as to how much in agreement we are on this matter...

For one thing,

I agree with what you said in an earlier post 'that this deal should have been reversed... '

There should never have been an agreement made with the Taliban to bring the troops home.
You simply can't make deals with terrorists.

I fully understand how and why we got there and what is at stake.
I was alive and I remember the Jimmy Carter years, gas rationing, the Ayotollah of Komeni (spelling?)... 9/11... weapons of mass destruction... Osama Bin Laden,... etc.

I sat in my living room and watched as the second plane fly into the tower....

I am extremely concerned about what is going on and I, personally, think our troops should not have been removed starting last year. I could go on as to what I think but it's not relevant.

And, as a side note, IMHO, in a war you don't TELL your enemies what you're doing in advance. Again, IMHO, if they were going to remove our troops and our NATO allies troops were pulling out - it should have been accomplished as a co-ordinated effort - all at once - without informing anyone or letting everyone know what was going on.

But, when it's all over the world news for a year that troops were pulling out and target dates are published ... the Taliban was given ample opportunity to make plans for a coup. We were aware that the Taliban were camping out in the hills waiting for their opportunity....

They don't ask my opinion on foreign affairs, and obviously, I'm not qualified.

Anyway, Rocko,

My response (above) was to your saying that Biden couldn't fight a war from his living room...or something like that ???

I sincerely doubt that he's in his living room right now.

No doubt, you and I vote differenty, but we are probably more in agreement on this subject than not.

Not saying the Taliban is a force for good. But we bombed innocent people going after one man. So don’t be surprised when people join up with a ruthless group for payback.

It’s like killing one ant and 2 ants appear for every one ant you kill. It leads to a war that will never end.

If the American Revolution happened today, the colonists would be considered terrorists.

And if your gonna bring up 9/11, remember that was done by Saudi Arabia. Our allies.

Unfortunately thr Taliban taking over is inevitable. Unless you wanna spend 3 generations in the middle east to educate the entire population of Afghanistan. Because that’s the only way it could work.

I recommend the documentary “This is What Winning Looks Like”.
You're right.

It sounds like a good documentary.

Better figure that out fighting strategy pretty soon. I suspect there are Taliban here in the USA just waiting for the right time.

Do we still have that rule about investing in American property and get a free pass?

All anybody has to do is invest in a $500.000 house and they get a visa.

One must ask......How in the world did you not see this coming?

Biden was obviously impaired BEFORE taking office. Dementia only gets worse over time, so things were obviously going to get worse over time. The presidency is SERIOUS BUSINESS and is not pulling for your favorite sports team.

People can and will die from dangerously incompetent decisions. More Americans will be killed or suffer from the Biden presidency before he leaves office.

What the hell were you thinking?
