No vaccine is 100% effective for all people, all the time.

These vaccines were all developed, trialed and approved before the Delta variant emerged.

The durability of the vaccine remains unknown. There are indications it’s months especially in those over 60 or with seriously compromised immune systems. This is why they have priority for a booster.

Most importantly, the majority of people hospitalized right now are unvaccinated. Most breakthrough infections in vaccinated people do not result in hospitalization.

That's on the very same bureaucrats bleating about overloaded hospitals to figure out. That's why we pay them.

Considering the Fed just prints whatever we're short, do we even pay for anything anymore? They couldn't set aside a half a trillion from the CARES Act? Where there's a will, they'll find the money somewhere. There was no will.

Medical tourism. Medical care in this country is woefully undersupplied anyway as evidenced by the stratospheric cost.
It is not just construction, but staffing. We don't have proper staff in many locales as it is now.

Medical tourism has to be about dead right now with Pandemic travel.

I just turned off three channels of main stream media news because this is, verbatim, all I heard.

I'd like to see the statistic to back that first sentence up. (NOT cherry picked statistic, general statistic)

And your second sentence is correct... although you forgot to mention that most infections in UNVACCINATED people do not result in hospitalization. In fact, hospitalization for any covid infection is quite rare, statistically.

Most, if not all, states are doing likewise. The Federal Government is paying for it.

The demand for this treatment is substantially greater than supply.

Reportedly, it works best on those who are either asymptomatic or have very mild symptoms AND who are at high risk of complications.

No treatment performs as expected for all people, all the time.

No treatment is side effect free in all people, all the time.
That should only be used for breakthrough cases.

Why? I thought we had a responsibility to treat everybody? You wouldn't want to be accused of discrimination, would you?

Sadly, racism is making a big comeback. And who'da thunk that all it would take is saying no to a vaccine. I guess that would be an example of "fair weather friends."

It is on the order of 10% for those 60 and above. Our county death rate is still at 3%. Of course some or many cases are never reported. But those numbers are substantial, unless you are talking about eggs and chickens.
