Keep all of the stupid in the North and the west Coast.
Don't worry about it, because most liberal people from the blue states, like California, avoid moving to the Red States like the plague! They would much rather move to a blue state like Colorado by the many thousands more than a Red State, like Oklahoma.

But, the largest exodus of people from California move to Texas, a red state.

But unlike in Oklahoma, the biggest metros in Texas, like Austin, have turned quite blue. So California liberals don't feel like weird aliens there. It's hard to imagine Tulsa, OK to turn blue in a million years. No doubt, Californians wouldn't remotely dream of moving to a highly backward and conservative state like Oklahoma, unless they are Republicans. Some surely come from the Okie part of California, the Central Valley. As a for instance this conservative family did from the northern part of the Central Valley of California:

It may be Tidy bowl. Biden lost 2-1 by 516,390 votes. So you likely will need your metros growing by several million in population to erase that margin.

Many settle in solid blue areas of Texas. Austin for example. Areas that are growing and prospering are turning blue. I grew up in Southwest Houston more than 20 years ago. It was fairly red back then. I just looked it up. Its fairly affluent now and is considered a liberal leaning city. The county itself voted 54% Democrat and 44% Republican.

My opinion is that the Republican party knows this. The end result is the voting changes that are being passed.

If they were already Dems, the Californians tend move to regions that were already blue, or trend blue. So, the big cities and some of its satellite suburbs. Austin is a major reflection if this, and it has significantly changed its vibe from a more laid-back, libertarian vibe to CA 2.0 — and that’s not all for the good. And it’s main native demographics of students, young adults, and government workers strengthen its hold.

Big cities also turn bluer if Republican voters “flight†out of the city instead of staying and attempting to change policies internally.

But if Texas trends blue, it won’t be solely due to inflow of Dems from CA or other regions. It will also be from home-grown growth, some resulting from the effects of immigration.

It is why this voter integrity issue is so hot for both Dems at the local and national level, because they’re salivating at the political power they can gain if Texas turns blue.

Republicans can either gain votes by offering better solutions to any failed Dem policies, or …?

This best sums it up:

The right of suffrage is a fundamental Article in Republican Constitutions. The regulation of it is, at the same time, a task of peculiar delicacy. Allow the right [to vote] exclusively to property [owners], and the rights of persons may be oppressed... . Extend it equally to all, and the rights of property [owners] ...may be overruled by a majority without property.... - James Madison

We have long reached the tipping point in America where those that live off public funds outnumber those that contribute to public funds, yet they demand how public funds are spent. Wealthy corporations profit from those that spend other people's money, politicians love it because that is how they hold power and the beneficiary reelects it because they outnumber the benefactor.

Will the benefactor ever grow weary?

Default Is this a trick question?

The "Republicans" have realized this and have been working for many decades to determine how to seize power once and for all, and institute one-party rule. Did you really think they were going to sit back and tolerate this? The attempted coup of 2020 was just a warm-up for the real thing in 2024 or 2028. Far as I can tell there is little to stop them from succeeding.

The only reason Republicans gained influence in PA, OH, MI and WI was because of Trump and his anti globalist message. Without that, those states, with maybe the exception of OH would rather go with pro-union Democrats.

Otherwise, the future battle lines seem clear; blue is spreading faster and stronger; esp because of immigration. So congrats to the pro business conservatives who want all that cheap labor and low end consumers. Now prepare for the big fat arrogance cake..
