Airplanes are tight quarters, but even fully clothed skinny people can be extremely unpleasant to sit next to, for various reasons.

AlaskaAir.com:

What should I wear?
The dress code on both Alaska and Horizon is casual, and the requirement is simply a neat and well-groomed appearance. Clothing that is soiled or tattered and bare feet are never acceptable. You are expected to use good judgment, but customer service agents will have the final authority to refuse travel for inappropriate attire or appearance.
I think she was absolutely discriminated against. Her clothes do not have holes, and she was wearing shoes. A slight peek of midriff was enough to get her booted from the plane? Ridiculous.

The cringe element is truly shocking. The level of narcissism is through the roof. There should be a whole thread dedicated to discussions about the content on that platform. There is a reddit group dedicated to discussions of the cringe element, or so I've heard.

I agree.

People are so obsessed with the way women choose to dress themselves. It's insane.

Looks like the story has a happy ending. The woman a rapper and a stylist was able to perform in her show and the airline apologized and issued her a discount.

She apparently tried to enter the plane wearing only a sports bra. She put a shirt on only after being told to, and it barely covered her body as well. She was combative with security and these days that’s a ticket off the airplane.

I’ll never understand the combination of celebrating one’s obesity, dressing in terribly poor-fitting clothing, and expecting a different reaction from people when out in public making a scene.

She complied with the order. She put on the shirt and was still harassed. Outrageous. I would be combative too.

I'll never understand a lot of things, but that doesn't change the facts.

To be fair, there really isn't much out there that would cover her immenseness.

I wouldn’t dream of ever saying anything rude or hurtful to her.

But when you show up for public transit dressed like a hoochie, with that much flab hanging out, your ass *needs* an intervention. Put. Some. Clothes. On.
Fat trophy wife! That's funny.

Dress for the body you have, not the one that you want.
