Americans generally criminalize things they do not like, understand or agree with, Afghan culture is totally different than US culture, but apparently this practice has been in place longer than America has been a country. (have to look at it from their side too), they dont see it like we do.

Do you think anyone from the State Dept sat down with them and explained how life is in the US ?
Why did they allow these men and their child brides to get on the plane in the first place ?
And now the State Dept is "looking for guidance" on this ?
Does the State Dept want to give these men a free pass ?

For the record, I am for the ones who assisted our military (along with their immediate families) and were in the process of getting their SIV's. I was not ok with just random refugees fleeing their country. That is something I just didn't understand happening.

Lord you went from 0 to 80 in no time. This is not about Saudi’s. This is about the Afghans who hitched a ride and came here to escape the Taliban rule.
It's just colateral damage in liberals' agenda to replace Americans with a whole new population.
Some, not all, envision a future (they will never see or have to live through) of utopia where there is one world government, the concept of money is gone because everyone works for the common good, and todays homeless/criminals will be contributing members of society. They also envision everyone being the same as far as housing, food, transportation, etc.
When have the rulers/leaders ever been on par with your average person?
Things like individual luxury will be non existent, and the leaders of this society would live right next to them. Workers that do manual labor (that have not been replaced by robots) will share the burdens, to where the ruling class will work beside, and hand in hand with them doing XYZ.
The list of this goes on and on, but how it relates to this thread is in a new world order, children are raised to all think the same way, religion will likely be outlawed, thus a person from an uncivilized society will no longer exist.
So people that believe in "Sharia Law" will be absorbed into a uni-mind culture without nation states, and everyone working in harmony and peace.
Everyone will be educated in what they believe is the proper way to think & live, no one will commit crime, because there will be no need for crime. Everyone will work for the collective good, with no individual ambition or freedom.
As the globalists new saying goes, for what they are actually calling the Great Reset - "you will own nothing, and be happy".
Trouble is that all that pie in the sky dreaming will not come true, and even if it came closer to reality than today, their grandchildren might not be alive to see it.
Naturally they never envision how to get everyone to conform, be labeled at a certain age to have aptitude in XYZ, then forced into what suits society the best, etc.
The communists have tried repeatedly to achieve a lot of the aforementioned, and we have seen the death and misery it has brought. But the leftists keep trying, despite a history of evidence to the contrary.
This is what happens when you try to enforce american values and laws on people that are living in 8th century farms. For us this is a terrible crime for them it's Tuesday.
