So did 8 long years of Obama/Biden already bring hopeless failure and utter total destruction to this country or not?

So ridiculously wrong. The manufacturing plants in my town are not operating under dark conditions. Hundreds are employed at National Standard, Armstrong tile, and Asco.

This is the tip of the iceberg. Keep voting for these socialist/communists and it will get far worse.
So if we become a Socialist/communist country like China, does that mean we'll have high speed trains running from one end of the country to the other, and subway construction in all our major cities? If so, bring it on!

Most Trump cult members would like to think if only Mr. BankTrumptcy was re-elected, gas prices would fall, food prices would fall, housing prices would fall and and on and on and on.

I'm employed as a school cafeteria cook. The food shortages are greatly affecting us. Deliveries have become sporadic, and it is impossible to obtain some frequently ordered food products, or the prices have greatly increased in others. Paper products are also in short supply (plastic straws, napkins, styrofoam "to go" boxes", styrofoam/paper plates, cups, etc.) We just do the best we can.

District parents have been notified that the cafeteria breakfast and lunch offerings will be greatly limited, and the menus subject to change with little or no notice.

End all the extra unemployment perks would be one thing. Anyone who has been on unemployment for the past year needs to be taken off and they need to get to work. Seems to me that is the biggest issue that effects all this other stuff. How about extra money for people to go back to work? Give people who have been on unemployment a tax holiday. Meaning for 6 month or whatever they get 100% of their paycheck for that period if they get hired now.

And I have read there are container ships backed up at various ports. Get the military or national guard in there to help process all of these containers.

Pretty much figured this was going to happen sometime in the fall, so I replenished my canned good supplies in my pantry and also bought a three month supply of dehydrated meals as a back up back in July/August.

Honestly, I don’t care for Biden or his corrupt family members or even anybody in his administration. But, I hope that inflation and our food supply network isn’t destroyed by his actions or inaction. His track record on everything he touches isn’t too freaking good or leaves me with any confidence in his or his hardliner’s abilities to get anything right.

All I know is that it’s going to be a rough winter for many people. But what I do know is that the Biden/Harris Administration will blame Trump and White America for all their failure… So much for the “buck stopping with him.”

I live in the suburbs and I can see some issues kicking off in our inner cities again, if the Biden/Harris Administration deflect the blame to White Racism and blames Whites for any possible food shortage.

Btw, I’m not White and I can see through the Left’s racist and race baiting practices.

Well, I would take Trump ACTING like a sore loser than Biden who IS an Actual and Proven loser, who hasn’t gotten anything right yet. Sorry, the DNC’s talking points are pure and uncut BS.

The only thing got right was the flavor of ice cream he likes… As our borders are wide open and Americans, as well as our Afghan allies, are stranded in a terrorist controlled country.

As for Trump taking any immediate action? Why would he? He’s not the POTUS and now, it’s the sole responsibility of the Biden/Harris Administration to fix this mess. I thought Biden had a “plan” to fix everything, which any human with half a brain knew was a bold face lie.

Well Stillwater Townie, I’m glad that you’re thinking that “Team Biden” is winning on the issue of the American economy… 2022 is coming up fast.

Sorry but doom and gloom is all we have with Biden. Everyday gets worse.

GLOBAL gas prices fell in 2020 due to a huge reduction in GLOBAL demand due to Covid and a temporary price war against Russia, initiated by the Saudis which resulted in the Saudis increasing production as GLOBAL demand substantially declined.

Refineries all over the world shut down in 2020 as Covid destroyed demand.

The price war ended and GLOBAL demand slowly began to recover as GLOBAL Covid restrictions eased.

Some seemed to attribute the very temporary prices at the pump to Trump and blame Biden for increases as GLOBAL demand increased.

The US was and remains a NET importer.

Of course we see inflation and have trouble getting products because of supply chain issues. But I think what people are missing is the complete incompetence of our education system that is beginning to show up in service...not just in fast food restaurants but all areas of service. You can tell when you deal with people that they have no idea how to handle anything. They are just trained to repeat "I do apologize for that' over and over if you complain about anything because they have no idea how to think on their feet and fix anything.
