I dont deny your reasoning, I deny the logic.

There are roughly 270 other Democrats who have similar moral and ethical beliefs as those 2, who also do everything they do. what sets them apart other than Sinema being the current darling of the right because of not voting for a certain bill, and Gabbard being the previous darling ?????

If you had randomly picked some back bencher, I wouldnt be questioning you, but you literally picked the most obvious 2. Other than Manchin.

George Washington, though I saw him as more of a commander than a politician. I don't know if Ben Franklin was a Republican, but guessing he was I'd say he was my favorite from the opposition. He knew the value of diplomacy which so many Republicans don't share anymore.

The question was who I liked, not who you thought I should like.

And, no, there are not 270 Democrats currently serving in Congress who have shown the intestinal fortitude of sticking to their guns as either Sinema or Gabbard. Manchin is an old time Blue Dog Democrat and make no mistake, Manchin is doing what will get him re-elected, he has no choice but to take the route he has or he’d get plummeted next election in his reddest of red states. So, while I have no heartache with him, I don’t have the respect for him that I do for Sinema or Gabbard.

Which Daley? There are a few. I have no respect for Richard J. Daley. When Dr. King was trying to desegregate Chicago, R.J. Daley tried to keep it segregated.

Lawrence Patton McDonald

"McDonald, who considered himself a traditional Democrat "cut from the cloth of Jefferson and Jackson", was known for his conservative views, even by Southern Democratic standards of the time. In fact, one scoring method published in the American Journal of Political Science named him the second most conservative member of either chamber of Congress between 1937 and 2002 (behind only Ron Paul)."

I'd give him an A at both roles.

Wish he did not hit term limits. His successors were never nearly as solid at their jobs.
Although I'm not really a party guy, I've voted for whom I can feel trust to get the job done and to work with everyone's issues and not just tow a line. I'd vote for John Hickenlooper for how well he's done in running Denver. I've read up on him some and like his style and what he stands for.
