Price increases (which are just a symptom of inflation, not inflation itself) are already as bad or nearly as bad as the worst years of the 70s (using honest stats, not the cooked CPI), and this is just the beginning.
Just to drive anywhere or eat anything you have to pay an arm and a leg. I dont see companies rolling over backwards to help their employees out financially. They just assume keep the revolving door going and just hope they can find one eyed unicorns to work for the cheapest wage possible while stockpoling all the revenue for themselves. . . How does anyone afford themselves to live much less a family of 5-6 or more.
A combo junk food meal at a fast restaurant will set you back $12-$15 now. It cost about $50 more to fill up my gas tank than it did a few months ago. .
Quarter pounder, fries and drink combo is $11.28. Not that I would ever eat that crap.
So you have a 50 gallon gas tank? What do you drive? Gas has gone up by about $1 per gallon.

I rarely post on CD, but you obviously creeped my last post in another topic to make your response here.
I'm flattered that you are so interested in what I have to say ---- but don't worry, I won't look up any of your post history, since I'm pretty sure it won't be worth my while to read anything you've written based on just a few sentences you've shared in this topic alone.
Besides......People who "creep" posts are just.........creepy anyway.
We have been through inflation before and we have always survived. Covid really did a number on us though. But we will survive like we always do.
