Yes, that's a large part of what life, and solutions, may boil down to: Leaning by collecting information about other situations, past and present, that apply, and using that information to try to make good judgments. It's the opposite of a race to the bottom.

The left can do it on purpose but we're onto them and will not vote for them in 2022 or 2024 as was proven last Nov. 2. They'd better get busy before 2022 as they've got a lot of damage left to do. Repubs in control after that. It's going to be a blood bath but the left don't care. They just want to do as much damage as they can before they are voted out...bunch of idiots.

If you love your country, hang in there. It won't be too much longer.

The lowest wage workers now are far better off even with inflation. If your income doubles ($7 to $15+) but your expenses are up 10% that's a huge win. Housing costs are a growing problem but you might see the first urban to rural movement relieve home prices since you can now make $15 to $20 an hour at podunk town McDonald's.

Funny but the OP was no Trump fan and didn't think that Biden / Harris could do any worse so Republicans should be thrilled that some on the left are getting it.

If you went through the recession of the 70's / 80's than you should be scared with what's going on now because we're seniors and most are on fixed income. Being so many seniors don't have pockets full of cash saved - those commenting must have done well for themselves not to fear what tomorrow may bring - think of your grand kids though.

Many of us who are seniors now, if we don't end up in a nursing home, will have well off grandkids.

We are children of those who knew the depression. We drove old cars and saved for a rainy day.

The last 20 years or so have seen a big transfer of wealth from the millionaire next door to kids and grandkids.

Many of us are still insured by our former employers. Back in the olden days employers did such things, life and healthcare.

Hey be happy, Biden just announced today that he’s going to shut down another major US pipeline grading it even further shortage. I think it’s evident at this point, actually beyond reasonable doubt that the Biden administration is intentionally trying to sabotage this country. Question now becomes, what can we do about it? He is literally in your face every day making moves there are eroding the foundation of this country. This stuff is so blatant it’s really not funny anymore.

There was no announcement that a pipeline is closing, but there was news that closure is being studied. Keystone would have had no real impact on the US, since it was intended to ship Canadian oil to Texas for export.
